Itâll slightly add curls and waves to your hair, but it doesnât get very hot.I have hair thatâs a little bit on the thinner side, so I could imagine this would be much more difficult for those with thicker hair.Convenient for traveling, but not very powerful. I recommend clipping your hair up after styling a bit longer to hold on to the heat and shape.

I have curly hair and as it doesnât heat up that much it took me a century to straighten my whole head and it turned out super frizzy and fluffy, but I like it to do small touch ups when traveling. Works best for bangs and small strands of hair, or i believe if you have straight hair its easier to use. So it depends. Great size for a backpack, handbag or suitcase of any kind, left size comparison pics.

Only half the barrel heats, don’t buy
I bought this as I travel a lot for work and don’t want to bring a full size iron but still want my hair to look good, I use an iron to just touch up my natural curls so it’s an easy job. It being able to straighten seemed liked a nice bonus but I mostly wanted a curling iron. It came and I was surprised to see that only the front half of the barrel is metal! The back, not shown int photos, is plastic. It looked really cheap, like something you’d buy at a dollar store for unde five bucks. Don’t waste your time thinking it’s a good deal and will work for a few days, it won’t. It might be ok to straighten only but not to curl. I sent it back.

The Best Little Dual Styling Tool!
This small and mighty styling tool is the best in my opinion.Especially, for my fine, 2 inch hair. The temperature is just right and I love the versatility of being able to curl, wave, and straighten my hair with one tool. I purchased my first one from a local HEB 3 yrs ago and could not find it in any store (HEB, Target or Walmart). Finding it on Amazon for half the price I paid for the first one was also a win!

I love the mini compact size of this iron, I was looking for something small to save space in my carry on luggage. The problem was it didnât not get hot enough and it would take longer to try to style my hair. I have fine shoulder length hair for reference. The quality was not worth the price so it was returned.
