Straight or Curly… it does it all with a professional look!
Appearance wise, it is sleek and professional and I love the simplicity of the controls and LED light. I love the longer plates because it allows me to get smoother results. Overall this straightener is fantastic! It heats up incredibly fast and it does not take a lot of time to style my hair whether it’s just straightening or curling. I will say, if you are looking to purchase this for curls they will last incredibly long (although you’re going to get a wand appearance more so than a curling iron due to the size of the plates). I have fine hair but a ton of it so will get intense bedhead which forces me to wash my hair every day. Becuase this iron has such a high temperature, the style stays incredibly well and I can refresh my curls if needed.Warning, you MUST know how to use this tool and use to correct protector for your hair before use. Since this tool goes to 450 degrees, you can seriously damage your hair if you do not prepare it beforehand. This is a perfect addition to your hot tools collection, I’ve been a fan for years!!

Long lasting flat iron curls, great for long hair!
I fell in love with my hsi flat iron and I was worried because itâs several years old so I wanted to get a back up. The HSI is no longer available so I purchased the GHD chronos iron for $300 and I wasnât happy with it-the plates were so short and the curls did not last as long as my HSI. I went back on Amazon to look for another option and I found this one. I figured the longer plates would be good for my long, thick hair. This flat iron blew me away. My curls stayed perfect all day in 92 degree humid weather, and then I slept on it and I woke up with perfect curls! This is the winner and the price is excellent!! I read some reviews that people had difficulty because the plates were long, this was not my experience. It was actually easier for me because when I would do the back, sometimes my hair would escape from the end, but with the longer plates, all my hair section was in contact with the plates. I hate doing my hair, but Iâm actually looking forward to doing it again in a week.

Great hot iron for the price!Pros:- Awesome price point- Can set the temperature- LED display changes color when it reaches set temp- I love the longer length as I have long thick hair so the longer blades cut time.- It heats up very fast.- I can straighten or curl my hairCons:- The outer section can get quite hot, but nothing unreasonable considering the plates are at 400 degrees!- When left plugged in the LEF display blinks constantly, and as I have it set up in my bedroom I have to unplug it or it drives me crazy at night.Overall I would reccomend it to a friend. I have only had it a few months and don’t hear style my hair that often, maybe I once a week. But I would but gain at this point.

A Little Awkward
Handling this straight wand is a little awkward. It works very well and you get great coverage because the heat plates are extra long. It’s great for thick hair. He’s nicely and straightens nicely. The grip is a little off for me.

Note that I have medium coarse thick long hair. I decided to try this one because the plates are smooth, ceramic, with a digital display, dual voltage with longer plates at a reasonable price. The plates are actually longer in length that the Infiniti Pro by Conair Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron, so this may be good or bad depending on how you curl your hair with a flat iron (if you choose to use it for that). I do hear the crackling noise when I first power on the flat iron which I find weird, but does go away after a few seconds. I like that my hair will smoothly glide through plates and that the handle is made of what seams like a heat resistant soft touch material (doesn’t feel like plastic like the Conair). The digital display is easy to see and adjust, but it stinks that I have to set it every single time I turn the flat iron on. I would love it if it would remember the last setting so, I don’t have to set it every single time. Other things it DOES NOT HAVE, but wished it did is a lock to keep the flat iron clamped down and a cord keeper of some sort (even an integrated tie down). The cord does swivel though. Now, how it irons — I’m using the medium lowest heat (350 degrees) recommended for my hair and it seems to smooth hair well, though I may have to go through certain sections twice. I’m trying not to burn my hair, so would rather go through twice than use too high of a heat setting. I’m not sure my search for a flat iron is over, I like it okay to continue giving it a try for another week or so, but may try a different brand with added features and I’m still concerned about longevity given other reviews.

Very impressed with this Iron!!
I was using the Bellezza Flat Iron. I had this forever and loved it because I have very long stick straight hair that’s very hard to keep curl. It finally broke and I was forced to buy something else. They don’t make the iron had anymore. After reading reviews on Ulta, Amazon, and other sites, I settled on buying this one. I love this iron. It gets hot quickly, it doesn’t snag my hair like my last iron did, and the extra long plates allow me to pick up more hair. As far as keeping curl WOW that’s almost impossible with my hair and I don’t have to use hairspray when I use this iron. It straightens my hair just as good. I would buy a thousand times over very impressed with this brand and it doesn’t break the bank.

This is a great straight iron. I LOVE the longer skinnier wand. I accidentally left the one I had at home when I went on a long vacation and decided to grab another brand at a local store. Here’s what I found out that’s great about this one.1st the ceramic pads that heat up are smooth and run easily over your hair without pulling or sticking.2nd the longer wand actually makes it easy to wave your hair, there’s more length to turn the wand.3rd the wands are thin so if you are waving your hair you can get some pretty curls with it.I ended up buying a second one of these, I’m very happy with it.

After researching irons extensively with a few key criteria that were necessary, this iron and one other won out in all categories.This and the other were comparable in temperature rating, price point and size and also the fact that I’d previously owned and liked both brands.This one one out.Pros:Digital Display that is lit up in blue when not ready and turns green when at desired temperatureItem feels nice in the hand. It’s not too light to feel flimsy, but not too heavy that you are tired when working with it. Feels expensive.Plates are lovely and long (longest I found), so you can take wider sections, and also when you’re doing curls, it gives you more plate to run the hair over before it slides off the end, so you get stunning, perfect beachy waves (the curling ability of this iron are top-notch!)Heats up quickly and is only hot in the unit, the outside and handle stay coolI have thin, naturally straight, bleach, processed hair – so keep that in mind with my review. It smoothed frizzy damaged sections in one pass. I was able to go over those sections at the highest heat without giving the damaged section a melted look (like a cheaper iron does – I normally never use top heat for these sections tho, it was for testing purposes only!)I did test it at top temp over a large, back section of hair to see how it would perform for someone with thicker hair and it swiped right through in one pass with nice results.Cons:Wish the cord was a foot longer.Wish the colour was a bit nicer. The black/yellow combo isn’t my favourite.But seriously, that’s it! If this lasts as long as my old Hot Tools (which still works, but just doesn’t glide like it used to) which was around 10 years, that’s great!Will update if I run into any issue, but if you’re on the market for a straightener, this product is a steal for the price point.

Definitely makes styling my long thick hair faster. Itâs heats up very quickly.Of note- with the extra length, you have to be careful how you hold the iron so you donât burn your fingers. If they had some heat-proof grips a little farther along the barrel, or even on the end so you have a uniform grip when styling, that would make this iron perfect. Iâve improvised and used a heat glove from another iron.
