This thing is amazing
I had rotator cuff surgery and because I am a very busty woman I could not lean forward in any way, shape or form as the weight of my chest would pull on my shoulder and caused me a lot of pain, and then causes inflammation. I needed assistance to stay upright, while using the restroom. This wand is absolutely amazing, once you learn how to wrap the tissue paper around it, it saves your life. It allowed me to be more independent which let my partner sleep and I didnât have to wake him up to help me. Itâs also good to use in the shower to wash yourself as well and because itâs easy to sanitize, itâs even better I would recommend this to people who are aging or people who need assistance because of medical things like surgeries or disabilities. I actually even purchased one because I loved it so much for my mom who had surgery on her legs so I would recommend this to everybody.

Absolutely Useless
A family member needed this because they were in an accident and dislocated their left shoulder and got a hairline fracture in their right wrist. Because of that, they couldn’t wipe because their left arm was in a sling and the right hand was in a cast. Now, I commend anyone who can wipe someone else’s butt, whether it be for family or as a career, but I am absolutely NOT one of those people. Hence the reason why I got this.
I thought “Well, it’s got to be better than nothing” but boy was I wrong. They tried using it and were able to get the toilet paper onto the device, but that’s about as far as they got. When they tried to wipe with it it either dropped the toilet paper (without pressing the release button), they accidentally pressed the release button when trying to hold/use it, or it just wasn’t effective at getting them clean.
I probably should have just bought a bidet to attach to the toilet because this thing is a piece of useless crap. Pun definitely intended.

Fat with Hand surgery
Okay so I’m a big girl and Gained some weight I can’t wait to JDHWHJ lose after this. But got surgery on my dominant right hand and never thought I would be THIS pathetic in the bathroom with my left hand. I’m so embarrassed with how I tried to bend, apparently fail at holding toilet paper right with my left hand. Couldn’t quite reach (can with my dominant hand but idk what the difference is) I been doing dang Yoga poses, showering after half wiping best I could and finally bent a metal hanger in ways that helped but scratched my booty once or twice. I been timing an embarrassing 45 minutes in the bathroom the past week and coming out the bathroom panting like I wrestled a bear. Reaaally had to pee and this finally came in the mail. Let. Me. Tell. YOU. I wrapped some Toilet paper around this bad boy. The firm handle gave the perfect reach and grip. The shape looked wierd but when I dipped it below it was like a dolphin perfectly swooping into the ocean in that perfect arc. Swoop. Swoop. Took me a try or two on learning to wrap the toilet paper the best way. But this Dolphin swooping booty wiper got me in and out the potty within 10 easy minutes. I came dancing outta there like a 3 year old happy she did a good potty. Get this especially if planning surgery. Save the yoga poses for the gym.

A nice assistive device…but not for everyone
Bought this for my mom after her recent hip surgery. This is a great tool, however, it takes some getting used to. First off, wiping from between the legs from back to front is challenging for those people whose thighs spread when sitting on the toilet. So, to get the wand between the thighs is challenging if not impossible for those individuals who cannot stand to wipe themselves. Also, my mom complained that the toilet paper did not stay on the stick when wiping and a lot of toilet paper had to be used in the process. It became a mess to say the lease because the toilet paper would fall off after wiping unto the floor. I think that the idea of this tool is a great assistive device, but not for people who cannot stand to wipe and those with large thighs.

Does the job
If you have a strained back or side, this is a pain-saver! Release button works well. Only thing that seems odd is it seems curved in the wrong direction. The recess that you shove the paper in should be on the opposite side, making the angle much better.

Ease
Due to my large stomach, it was becoming very difficult to clean while using the bathroom. This tool keeps me clean and dry. I’m ording the foldable version for travel.

Not what you are looking for!
It will not hold paper in place! The button on the top is easy to press and the grab area opens, but it does not close enough to hold any amount of paper or a wipe. The wrap around method doesn’t work either, the paper just unwinds at the critical moment. The length is good, and it is easy to clean. I still have time before my surgery so I will try to make this work.
Update: This did not work for me after my hip surgery. So, I cut up a terry towel, made several slip over covers, attached with rubber bands, sprayed a little water before use, worked ok, rinsed in the clean toilet water and machine washed in detergent with hydrogen peroxide. Disgusting process, but where there’s a will there’s a way. So glad to get rid of everything when it was over.

Easy to use and keep clean perfect for those with mobility or reach isssues

A good idea and useful if you have full mobility and strength in your hands. Unfortunately, the disabled person has neither and although can hold it ok, hasnât the strength to push the strong spring at the end, to release the paper.
This would be classed as a hair brush for people who do not have sensitive scalp, do not use this on your face. –
bends the wrong way the paper faces down at the toilet instead of up at your buthole.
