So Far I’m Impressed!
I went Kayaking on a River with lots of rapids & enjoyed the Sun in 95+ degree weather & by evening this eyeshadow looks as good as when I applied it! I decided to try it again. I worked outside in the same hot weather for most of the day in direct sun; landscaping our garden. I had sweat driving in my eyes. I don’t rub them but used papertowels to pat my face. I couldnt believe it stayed put again! I don’t know if it’s because of how I apply my makeup or the makeup itself but usually my eyes water & with the eyeshadow I was using; it would disappear on the outer side pretty quick.
To make your makeup look flawless even on aging skin:
Use Hyloronic Acid (I use Amazon brand)
After 30 seconds I apply a Moisturizer (I use the classic Olay that’s been around for 30+ years & cheap)
Let it all sink in for atleast 30 mins
I then use Elf Primer (blue bottle)
If you use the white bottle then skip the next step (I prefer the blue)
Use a med-large brush to apply pressed powder (I use Maybelline Fit Me)
Next I use my favorite Foundation
I put on the rest of my makeup, except mascara
I then use a Loose Powder (Fit me)
With my new eyeshadow everything stays in place all day & still looks great!
I also use Loreal True Match Blush. I use a waterproof eyeliner & mascara, Loreal Voluminous or my new fave: Essence I â¡ Extreme.
Rimmel Exagerate Retractable Pencil is also Wonderful! Glides onto wonderfully!
I use Wet & Wild Ultimatebrow
Yes I use cheap products but why pay more for something just as good!!!

Love the muted, natural looking colors.
Great colors, seems to be a good quality eyeshadow palette that goes on with ease and blends well. One thing I wish for in these kind of palettes would be a tray where the eyeshadow applicators could be stored. I knew none were included, which is fine, but with all these colors I have several of my own I would love to keep clean and within easy reach inside.

Great matte makeup!
Mature skin does not require, nor does it look good with shimmer eyeshadow. It is hard to find a whole set that is matte. This set is fabulous on my skin tone, which is light, but not super white.

For a mild day look this pallete works great. It goes on smoothly. The two middle shades are very subtle and hard to see on my olive tone tan skin tone. It does not irritate my skin or cause any eye irritation.

I’m picky with eyeshadow. When I saw the colors in this particular one, I had to try it. I just bought another one. I don’t care for glittery shadow, but this is so subtle, and only in the lighter pinkish shades. This adds a beautiful look for your eyes!! I’m in my mid 70’s, so subtle is my preference; and I have gotten some nice complements on this shadow. I truly recommend this shadow.

LIked everything, as others have said, but the fact that it “sheds” a lot on to undereye area when applying annoys me a bit ; a higher quality shadow would do this less. Can’t really complain for the price though.

I was looking for one small eye shadow pallete for travel that could provide both day time and night time eyes and this fit the bill perfectly. I also use eyeshadow and a pointed brush fir eyeliner, and this has a color dark enough for that. The colors cover well, even the light ones. Good blending, and staying power. I would recommend if these are colors you wear.

I was unsure when I opened it. I was pleasantly surprised. The colors blend well and look very attractive even though they are subtle. I found that it worked well on its own, but grab a primer for a full day of wear. I like the case. It’s compact and feels durable. It has a bit of a grip too, which is great for my small hands lol. I would totally buy it again, its now in my purse!
