What a surprise
I’ve been using this mascara for 3 months now, and it is hands down the best I’ve gotten in a long time. I was skeptical at first that at its price point it could really earn its good reviews, but after 3 months I’m a believer. It works so much better than other mascaras I’ve spent a lot more money on – Dr. Hauschka and Clinique for two. It doesn’t clump, it’s water resistant, and lasts all day. The gold tube is a little gaudy, but its raised surface is actually helpful – you can get a good grip on it so the mascara goes where you want it to. Very good product all around.

My new holy grail mascara!
I’m big on trying new mascaras and have used quite the number of different products, and this is the first mascara I’ve used that absolutely does not smudge by the end of the day. I’m on my second tube, and it does not budge while also not being impossible to remove at the end of the day with a cleansing balm. I’ve napped wearing this mascara and been able to go about my day afterwards without needing to touch anything up. It’s also easy to build volume, usually I’ll apply two coats while the first coat is still a little wet, wait for everything to dry, and then de-clump with a spoolie for a voluminous, but not spidery look. Love this stuff!

I absolutely love this mascara. It gives me the perfect length and it lasts pretty much all day. I will say though, It takes a second to try but not too long, and it does get a little crumbly towards the end of the day.

The BEST
This is my favorite mascara ever! I hardly ever write reviews, but I just wanted to let you know that the applicator is fantastic. It’s almost like a small, stiff comb. It really separates the lashes. Really. And because of it’s sleek profile, it’s much easier to get some length on the lower lashes. It also doesn’t leave much of a mess if you accidently touch your skin. The formula is very water resistant but comes off easily with my makeup wipes. So happy I found this.

Not such a great experience with this mascara I couldnât wait to get it. It came without a brush. I use so excited I am twisted the top and there was no brush on the end, but Amazon made it good. A must have mascara
Hello, I saw an ad with this mascara and decided to try it. Itâs one of the best cosmetic decisions Iâve ever made. I did not want too much of a drama look, since Iâm more of a natural person and with me having alopecia , wanted something the compliment my bald head and this mascara did the job. Would definitely purchase again.

Still prefer THRIVE⦠but I figured out a trick!
I was so excited to try this after seeing it on TikTok. At first I wasnât a fan; it didnât seem very pigmented and wasnât giving me much volume. Iâm used to wearing THRIVE, which is a super rich black color. When I first got it, it was way too wet. I ended up leaving the cap unscrewed slightly overnight, and that helped dry it out so I could get length AND volume.
Now I LOVE it! Sometimes I use a primer, sometimes I donât. Then I curl my lashes and wait for each coat of mascara to dry before adding another. In my pic itâs looking spidery & got a little clumpy, but Iâm wearing 1 coat of Essence primer (light green) + 3 coats of mascara. 2 coats looks good, too! I might use my THRIVE as a tubing top coat (for rich black drama). So far this one isnât smudging, doesnât make my skin messy when I apply it, and I can actually wear it on my bottom lashes!!!! If nothing else, itâll make a good first coat and bottom lash mascara. ðð¼
UPDATE: Wait a sec⦠is this a tubing mascara, too?!! It doesât smear all over when removed, and it sort of wipes off in clumps like Thrive. It isnât as easy to take off as other tubing mascaras, which is why Iâm a confused. Itâs more like Maybellineâs Sky High or even Lash Paradise.
Removal tip: Apply a damp cotton pad or washcloth for a few mins (press it into your lashes to get them wet), then let your lashes stay wet for a few minutes to loosen the mascara. It wonât drip down your face, I promise! Then wipe downward, and most of it should come off. Sometimes I need soap to get the last bit off.
This mascara combined with my Babe Lash serum is magic!!! Iâm 42 and havenât seen my lashes look like this since high school! â¨

Waterproof is not blackest black as is says in the description, it is black noir. Just saying….

Stays on well. Itâs actually difficult to remove!
