    Hair glides without snagging
This flat iron is well worth the price. Heats up fast and glides smoothly over hair and leaves my hair nice and smooth. I’ve been looking to replace my amika iron since only one side is working and have tried several. Only complaint I have is the on/off switch seems a bit hard to turn on/off.

    Great value for the quality
My straightener conked out, and this one seemed like a nice replacement. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it heat up, and how fast it worked. Hair is stick straight with minimal effort, and it’s a lightweight appliance, too, so no heavy arms syndrome by the time you’re done doing your hair. Just an easy to use hair straightener, which also doubles for curls if you’re in the mood. Definitely recommend.

    Good iron for price
As far as flat irons go, this one is basically the same as all the others. I will hit on some points I think are worth mentioning.
Includes a hang tag and a swivel cord
Includes a heat glove and silicone mat/case which isn’t mentioned on the box
Has a rotary dial to change temperatures
Heats up quickly between temps–see video. Seems as fast as my Chi
The plates have some give to them so they can conform to hair thickness to ensure a flat surface
The color on the box says green but is more of a turquoise (which I prefer and like)
Overall, good iron. It didn’t pull or snag in my hair. For reference, I am 46yrs old have medium thickness strands and I had lightly oiled my dry hair 2 days ago for moisture. This didn’t feel like a cheapo iron during my use. I typically don’t straighten my hair but use my Chi to curl it. I take small sections and wind around my fingers to make a “pin curl” then place it inside the flatiron for about 5 secs. My Chi works faster than a curling iron so this is just my preference on how to use it. I did a small section of hair as straight first to see how it glided through and it did well. As far as heating, this one has more settings than my older Chi (which only has one). I used the lowest 2 settings and they worked fine for me. The test will be to see how log the curls last. My Chi produces curls that last all day and waves into the next day without any spray. The plates on this unit have the same springy give as my other iron so that’s a nice attention to detail. I love the silicone mat as I don’t have one. It can be used to place the iron on as it heats to protect your counters if needed and then you can either slip the iron into the sleeve after use to keep it out of the way while it cools or use it as a storage pouch for your cooled iron. The heat glove is a nice addition as well, although the tips of this iron have finger grips at the end of the barrel (my Chi doesn’t) which I found I would utilize without the glove. It does get hot at the end but the grips seem to be away from the element enough to keep it from scalding. Just my experience. I did not see either of these extras mentioned on the product page so I was pleasantly surprised upon opening. Overall at just $20 this is better than the same priced ones at the local retailer in my opinion. My son had one of those brands and it would snag quite badly at that price point. So, in comparison, this one is not only cuter and has more accessories included but it more hair friendly.
Having trouble getting review to post so will come back to try adding photos if this goes through.

    Heavenly Sent
Please read through before passing judgment:
I have beautiful, straight, long, non-frizz hair and I love, love, LOVE it! It is, without question, my best feature. I am asked constantly about what products I use, which treatments I get, and my all-time favorite of, “Is it natural?”. When I answer back with it is natural, there are no treatments and the only products I use are either Redkin’s All Soft Shampoo and Conditioner, Nexxus’ Humectress or Finesse, I am told I’m blessed. Blessed I am. Or I was…
That was when I lived in New York. The millisecond I landed in Florida, my hair became a rat’s nest of frizz. No matter what I have do, what I try, how much money I spend, the tears I cry, I have NO reprieve. This disgustingness that lives on top of my head needed cosmic help and cosmic help it received via this product.
Why this works, beats me. I don’t have the brains to figure it out but I certainly have the proof.
I have been in Florida since 2012 and it has only been a month since I have had my old hair back. It’s not as easy as it was before because it was natural then as opposed to now when I have to use the straightener. It does take time and effort but it is more than worth it for me. And, thanks to Florida’s humidity, it’s not a permanent fix which is why it being only 1″ is major. Being 1″ makes carrying it with me a non-issue and as soon as I feel my hair starting to poof, a quick touch-up and I’m good to go. All those years being ashamed are long gone, never to be again.
No more rat’s nest, no more trying this shampoo and that conditioner, no more dropping of money at a saloon for nothing, no more purchasing of the latest technological advancement in hair dryers and flat irons and straightening brushes, and lastly but most importantly NO MORE TEARS!!!!!

    Good for the price.
Good straightener for the price. It heats up quickly, and the buttons are very basic and straightforward easy to use. The on off switch is a toggle along with the twist dial temperature control. The cord attachment swivel, which makes it easy when you are switching from side to side on your hair. Overall happy with this straightener, would recommend it
