This is quite better than I expected for a kids tablet at this price.I didn’t use the vendor supplied child/parental controls, and instead installed the google android options, and its working well. The battery lasts a standard amount of time (about 2 days if laying around idle, 4-5 hours streaming video).it has an sd card slot, mileage may vary (example netflix loses track of downloaded for offline videos saved to sd card instead of internal, but disney plus seems to handle it ok (except disney expires frequently and you have to re-up the download every few days, but unrelated to sd card).I can’t speak to gaming, my toddler only uses it for watching videos right now, but we haven’t encountered serious performance issues, just the normal lag you’d expect from any slower cheaper android device.
