Perfect fishing backpack.
I searched a long time before I tried this one. My search is over, this one is perfect . I took the bottom section off and I take this backpack on my pond and stream hopping adventures. There are so many compartments and the material is very durable. I broke one clip but I believe it was my own fault. The rod holders come in handy too.

Just received this today. It’s for my son for his birthday next week so will update review as used. But just first impression, this is very very nice. I will put in as many pictures as I can until I can do a video. Lots of zipped pockets, seems sturdy, padding for back, multiple non zipped pockets, cup holder, external holder for pliers, detachable cooler on bottom with pockets on each end, 2 sturdy rod holders on side, sunglass etc zipped pocket on top, main part of this has velcro floor to divide into 2 areas or make one big area. As of right now, I want one also! Or might just keep this one for myself. lol. Hope the pictures help! One picture i circled all the zippers so you can tell all the zipped pockets. I might have gone overboard on the pics

Good vs bad
The good – pockets for fishing poles, separate lunch/cool box, but the insulation was thin, the straps thin.enough that I worried about durability with the backpack full, and the zippers did not instill confidence when they could be open by a misstep on the trail. If this is all the money you have, it’s better than nothing. But if you want something more suitable, I would spend just a little bit more money, and find a better backpack. The good – lightweight, color easily found, multiple pockets/areas to store items (but not.enough if its an overnight camping trip, but okay for a single day trip). Youd have enough room for two poles, 4 tackle boxes, a very small cooler bag (that will fit a few cans of soda or so), so there are some pros. But in the end, the quality reflects the price

Easy access to your tackle.
This backpack has become my main tackle box. I keep four 3600 boxes in the bottom and small worm binders in the top. Everything you really need and more for bank fishing, or going on some else’s boat will fit in in.The pouch for pliers makes them easy to access and hold them securely.My only complaint is the cooler. You have to unzip it from the bag before you can open it. And it’s not 100% water proof. I use a frozen bottle of water to keep things cold rather than ice for this reason.
