Estée Lauder Turbo Lash Excessive Powered Quantity + Size Mascara

Not bad.
I typically don’t use mascara much anymore because I use Lashify. But when I do full glam, I do feel like my bottom lashes are missing something. So I figured I’d try this out.I did not like it on my bottom lashes, but it did well on my top lashes. I deducted 1 star because I just wouldn’t pay $33 for a mascara. I can’t justify it.But the formula itself isn’t bad. I like how my lashes looked after using it. I left it on for a few hours while I was doing household chores and didn’t notice any flaking or smearing.It gave my lashes a little extra length and definitely gave volume!All in all, it’s not a bad mascara. I’ve definitely had bad mascaras and this isn’t one of them. The formula is good, but the price tag is just too high for me personally. If you’re looking for a good, higher end mascara, I’d definitely recommend this though. If the price tag isn’t a hinderance to you.

Volume Yes, Length Not So Much
I’ve been testing this for a couple months trying to decide whether I like it or not. I generally really like Lancome products, and have used some different mascaras like Lash Idole that I love. This one just falls short for me, it performs worse than many drugstore mascaras and falls short of the claims made by the brand.The tube itself is large and nice looking, the wand however leaves much to be desired. The brush bristles are incredibly short and collect too much product. I had to wipe a lot off to keep it from coating my lashes in a think goopy layer, the bristles are not long enough to define the lashes and I would have to go in with a clean spoolie to brush out. (picture shows two coats brushed out with a clean spoolie, I still had some clumps on the ends of my lashes to pick off)The formula is also very wet off the bat, one reason why I kept testing intermittently for two months was to see if it would improve if it dried out a little. It got a tiny bit better but not enough to make it good.I would say it is good for volume, but does very little to lengthen, probably due to the poor design of the spoolie. I would agree with the brand claims that it doesn’t flake or smudge, but there’s nothing about it that resists clumping without special attention paid to application.The value is just not there. I would have the same complaints if this was a $10 drugstore mascara, the fact that it is three times as much puts it on the high end even for prestige cosmetics. I can’t recommend, if you want a good Lancome mascara go for Lash Idole.

Great Mascara, but Not Perfect
I tried the Estée Lauder Turbo Lash because I was curious about the whole “high-powered” thing and was hoping it would give me both volume and length in one go. After using it for a couple of weeks, here’s the good and not-so-good.What I like: It definitely adds length, and my lashes look more defined without clumping, which I appreciate. The brush grabs even the smaller lashes, and it layers nicely if you want a more dramatic look. Also, it stays put throughout the day—no smudging or flaking, even after long hours.Now, the things that didn’t wow me: While it does lengthen, the volume part was just okay. If you’re expecting super thick, bold lashes, you might need to go in with a couple of extra coats. Also, it’s not the easiest to remove—it takes a bit of patience and good makeup remover to get it all off without pulling at your lashes.Overall, it’s a solid mascara if you’re going for length and definition with a clean finish. Just know that you might need a few layers for real volume, and be prepared for a little extra effort when taking it off.

I am a mascara collector..try and try and try all kinds. This is my new fave! It pumps up the lashes, doesn’t flake or smudge and stays put all day! L’Oréal voluminous has been my go to…not any more!

Leider ist die Farbe sehr dick und lässt sich nicht ordentlich abstreifen, dadurch sind die Wimpern beim auftragen völlig verschmiert und verklumpt. Schade für das viele Geld. Ich habe wirklich mehr erwartet.
