Holds my fine thin hair…which many curling irons do not
I needed to find a replacement iron for my old one that my daughter borrowed…and lost. My old one was seasoned and worked amazing. Temp was perfect and it held my fine hair with no issue. Granted it was covered in hairspray and product build up…but this allowed it to be seasoned and not burn my hair. I have purchased a few different curling irons to replace my old one…including the same style. ALL did not hold my hair or come up to a temp needed. I took a chance on this style after reading a few of the reviews.Pros: It holds my hair great. It comes up to temp really quickly and actually has low to high heat. The dial for the setting is easy to use….but you do have to get used to it. I tend to hit the dial while using it and move the heat setting on accident. I recommend you start at the lowest setting if you have fine hair and work from there. This curling iron is hotter that older styles, so lower temp is better to start with on fine hair. Love the cord length. Sharp looking product. Not a cheaply made curling ironCons: Not really a con…but the temp dial could be made a little harder to turn to allow users to not move it on accident when using. I feel that the low to high setting is off. Unit on 5 seems to be almost the same temp as the highest setting. The manufacturer should look into adjusting. I just have adjusted how I use it. With fine hair…high temps can cause breaking, which is why low is used and recommended. This unit seems pretty hot for low.Overall I recommend trying. I am happy with my purchase and hide it from my daughter. lol

Classy curling iron!
My other curling iron by Conair finally started to fray at the cord, so I needed a new one and after ordering a few and trying them out, I settled on this one because it most closely mimicked my previous one, which I loved using for about 10 years. The style of this curling iron is beautiful and elegant, so it looks great on the bathroom counter.PROS: The clip that holds the hair is very secure so the hair doesn’t unravel when curling, the heat setting adjuster knob is placed in a spot that makes it hard to accidentally change to a lower or higher heat, and there is no on/off button that can accidentally switch off the iron while using, which is a good thing (there is a safety mechanism that automatically shuts off the iron after not using for a while).CONS: the cord is short, the iron gets very hot on the high settings (so be sure to test on a small piece of hair first), and the cooling tip isn’t very long so I need to wear heat gloves when using it to prevent accidentally burning my fingers.Overall, I’m very happy with this curling iron and highly recommend it! I can only hope it lasts as long as my other iron did.

Great when you know how to use it right.
It took me a few tries to get use to using this. I was using to using the curling iron s that have the arm on it. This is a great product for many types of hair. I have very thick and very kinky hair and it still worked well. Good temperature control. The curls that it made was to dream for. The glove that came with it was t silky soft but it was still soft.

I have long used Conair products. Many years, in fact. Both hair dryers and curling irons. This is the first Conair product I’ve purchased that is just plain crappy. Even worse, it’s crappy in all regards– not in a single feature only.Awkward balance.It gets ungodly hot. Use extreme caution with temp settings if you buy this product. Heat setting numerals are nearly impossible to see/read. The setting pointer is RIGHT under the lever. This thing gets much hotter than you would ever imagine. If high heat is what you’re looking for this iron is for you– but be really careful. I had to dial it way down on my fine hair. But even if you have heavy, difficult to manage hair, I think it could easily be damaged with this product.The tip is difficult to grasp without burning your fingertips. (My previous Conair curling iron had a hole in the tip you slid your finger through to secure it.) Way too easy to burn your fingers. Also, watch out for your ears. (See previous comments about high heat.)The cord is flimsy.Hugely disappointing. I should have returned it; I am now regretting that I didn’t.

I was skeptical the first few times I used this wand, but I LOVE it now! I have to turn up the dial farther than the instructions suggest, but that comes with trial and error of any new product: figuring out how it works best for you. Anyway, it heats up quickly, it has a little âstandâ so it isnât directly sitting on the vanity counter top, it it so simple to use now that Iâve mastered the wrapping both left and right handed (thatâs a âmeâ issue) and the curls are FANTASTIC!! They are smooth and bouncy and they have staying power! I will curl my hair before work on a Monday and through brushing and hat wear and whatever else, I will still have smooth, shiny waves on Wednesday and Thursday. On my natural fine hair, this works well. On my extensions, this also works well. For each curl on my regular hair I leave it for 10 seconds. For my extensions, I wait 20 seconds. Again, results are pretty and shiny and last!

I have tried a number of 1â curling irons, ceramic, titanium, many if not most that are well known brand names and up to $120 range. There were a number of things I wasnât satisfied with. I finally decided to try the affordable titanium conair only based on numerous good reviews. And it didnât disappoint!! Have to say, the price, how light it is and easy to handle. smooth glide – no pull on hair, and how great my hair held the curl, I highly recommend it! I curled on 20-25 setting for 6 seconds each strand. After that, I spend 2 hours in the ice rink and couple of hours in the sun. The curl still held and was what I was looking for – beach waves style (last photo). This iron is my top pick! No need to overspend or look anywhere else! Ps: my hair looks fine but medium in thickness so def needs titanium iron as after ceramic iron, my hair just doesnât hold the curl as good as after titanium. The only con is that there is no auto shut off and no separate on/off button. All is on via temp setting swivel.

Me gustó mucho, no soy muy experta y se me hizo muy fácil utilizar este ferro, me encantó el ancho porque queda un look âeffortlessâ, ondas muy muy sueltas, también compré el ferro de 1â para cuando quiera ondas un poquito más apretadas. ¡Lo recomiendo ampliamente!
