Batteries dead on arrival.
Several of the bird songs are barely audible even after changing the batteries which were dead on arrival.

This is one of my favourite books on our shelf – love that it helps to learn accurate bird sounds so little ones can recognize those sounds out in the wild.

The concept of book is great and illustration are good but out of 24 button for bird sound ð, only 11 work and others are defective, therefore Songs of birds ðµ actually had only half songs available. As it was the last book available, I did not return it. The complain is from the technical angle, else it’s a good book to introduce kids to bird watching.

Two birds noises never worked (the blue tit and the one immediately behind), I never bothered to return or exchange it because I was way too busy with a newborn. It’s a shame as I cant do anything about it now. Apart from this, the pictures are gorgeous and my son loves it.

This book is such a delight. The bird calls are very accurate and is great for helping to teach would be young bird spotters. My nephew and friends son love the outdoors and we always play guess the bird by the song so this is great to help them recognise the different calls. Thoroughly recommend.
