An OK rain coat at a good price

I’ll start with the good. I think its pretty stylish, has a nice look to it, nice job with pockets and the hood. Also, the fabric didn’t have any bad odors and the stitching looks decent.My 3 minor issues with the Jacket.First, its a bit small for a Size Large. I have several “Large” jackets and coats and they all give me ample moving around room for layering. This jacket is more of a Medium/Large. With just a light short sleeve shirt on, it fits fine, but if I try to wear it over a sweatshirt, too snug. So you might want to consider going up a size if you are planning on using this in cooler weather. Second, no ventilation or solid water proofing. I don’t think this is a jacket that you would wear when you are out in a heavy rain working or fishing, for long periods of time. More of a quick in and out of rain kind of coat. Lastly and again, minor, the zipper is on the opposite side that men’s zippers are on. It makes me wonder if this coat was made for a woman and why “Large” is more of a “woman’s large”.What makes this jacket just fine for me is the price and quality. $25 isn’t a lot to pay for a nice looking jacket and this is that. Had the minor issues with it not be present, it would be a 5 star and “Go out and grab this now!”End of the Day, I give it 2 thumbs up for value and quality.

I think this is a womanâs jacket
Look, this is a great jacket for the price. The materials feels nice. It looks good as long as you donât mind the giant logo across the back. It is fitted elastic around the wrists to keep the wind and water from blowing in. It zips up high for windy days. My major issue is that itâs advertised as a menâs jacket. It is not. The zipper is on the wrong side for menâs clothes. More importantly it fits like a womanâs large. I am a menâs large in almost every shirt, jacket, coat, etc. This fits me fine across the shoulders and chest but the arms are way too short⦠at least an 1.5 – 2 inches if I extend my arms straight. The bottom of the jacket is also too short on me. If I raise my arms you can see my stomach. Itâs a shame because, otherwise, it is a nice coat. If you are a man and you order this pay close attention to the sizing chart. Youâll probably need to size up at least one size.
