Vitamin works, but horrible to swallow
These aren’t big vitamins, which I can take, but the shape of these make me gag and has a hard time going down, only pill I’ve ever taken that comes back up easily. But on the plus side I’ve seen an increase in my skin and hair. I’ve also noticed an increase in my sex drive, which is why I bought them bc my husband and I are TTC. Now this could be a placebo affect but we’ve been trying a year so I’ll update if we do end of conceiving in the next month or so. Also I read some reviews about negative side effects, so I started with a half dose for the first couple days and then increased to 2 a day. And yes I experienced insomnia like many others noticed. I highly suggest taking it in the morning. Even late afternoon dose kept me up.

I’ve been taking this for about 45 days now. About a week after starting I noticed that my sex drive was abnormally high. I’m a 42 yr/old women who didn’t have much of a sex drive for the past 10 years. It’s so bad that when my husband is not available I have to do it myself, like in the middle of the day, it can be irritating sometimes… (sorry if this is TMI). It also made me enjoy sex a lot more.I noticed several benefits, it cleared my skin (I somehow still have acne at 42!), my hair is shinier, stronger, no more breast pain, no more PMS, it is also helping with pains I have because of repeated movement.It did have other side effects too: it seems to be changing my periods, I’m spotting like crazy, made me nauseous for a few days when I started taking it, gave me a little bit of diarrhea (but only the first few days), and it gives me insomnia. I did some research and it seems that primrose oil increases dopamine and serotonin, and this can make you extra alert, so you can’t sleep.Different people seem to have difference side effects with this supplement. I’ve seen reports of extreme anxiety, even panic attacks. So I would recommend people to keep a diary of symptoms, so you can keep track of what’s changing in your body.I’ll finish this bottle and update this comment if anything changes.

This supplement changed my life
I’ve been using Nordic Naturals Omega Woman for three or four years now. Wow. I still have cramps but I hardly have PMS symptoms like I used to. And my cramps have been cut in half. I use 400-mg (two pills) of ibuprofen for pain for a couple of days where it used to be 800-mg for at least four days. And it also cut the duration by a couple of days. And, my cycle has become quite predictable. I’m almost 45 years old. My mother went through a terrible menopause resulting in a hysterectomy by this time in her life. I don’t think the Omega Woman is completely the reason for a now-healthy cycle, but I think it has been a major contributing factor. The main ingredient is evening primrose oil, but what makes this product stand out from other similar evening primrose oil products is that they add a tiny amount of fish oil to make it absorbable. I also take the Nordic Naturals Cod Liver Oil off and on, which seems to be an excellent hormone regulator. While Omega Woman by its name seems to imply that you’re getting all of your omega needs met, there really isn’t that much omega in it. I wouldn’t use this as a complete substitution for an omega supplement.
