These panels work exactly as intended. We have had our clam and three panels for a long time. We finally decided weâd like three more panels. The panels have a few new features which are improved from the original design. We canât use the features since w donât have a new clam but love seeing the upgrades. They added Velcro to help keep the rain out! We use the sixth panel over the door at night so that rain doesnât get our chairs or bikes. We absolutely love these panels and clam.

For the most part we love the wind panels…………As others have said the rain will just run inside because there is no flap to cover the top edge of the panel. I knew this when I bought them but I still think they are a good idea to keep a driving rain out.During our latest camping trip (first time with the panels) we had some breezy conditions 3 of the days during the week. For the most part they worked great but after returning to our site after a few hours away we found something had rubbed a hole in our screen. I can’t be certain this was the cause but the velcro pulled apart during the breeze. The hook that holds the panel to the tent was still intact and we had a hole about a foot inside where the velcro pulled loose. Like I said, I can’t be certain but it makes sense that was the cause of the hole because it was exactly at the same height as the velcro tab.We spent a lot of time in the screened tent because of the breeze and mosquitoes. We put our cast iron dutch oven inside with us and just sat there bug free tending our cooking.I would love to give these 5 stars but just can’t justify it. All in all, they are a great addition to the tent.It’s probably asking too much for Clam to sew a rain flap onto the newer tents because many people probably don’t buy the wind/rain panels.

These go on the CLAM pop up tent – and a must if you want to be protected from cool winds/rainy or snowy weather.my review of the Clam pop up:Love that it’s so easy to setup! Maybe two minutes max for one person to set this up. I use it for relief from bugs, but also as I just found out – it keeps the warmth in as well a bit. We have a propane portable fire pit that we use inside. So happy with this purchase. Worth every cent!

Very easy to install. Fits the 6Ã6. Clam. We use the clam shelter with and without the panels. Sometimes we only used one panel if there was directional, wind or rain. Excellent addition to the 6Ã6 clam folded up. It fits in the case for the clam as well.
