Great workout/chore shorts!
I hike with a pack of dogs in the woods for work! I’ve been wearing biker shorts in the summer for the last 10 years doing this but I’m turning 40 this year and honestly just a little over biker shorts. They can be kinda hot, have bad pockets and I mean, they are skin tight which may or not be good lol. So I was looking for something else cheap so I could get at least 5 pairs to cover the work week and that would be flexible like biker shorts. These are amazing! They are so comfy but look more professional then biker shorts and maybe more age appropriate lol. I don’t know if I would wear these to a fashion contest but they def fit the bill for the work day of seeing clients when I pick up their dogs then getting covered in mud and sweating all day! Would be great for weekend yard work and chores/errands too! I am 5’4” at clocking in at about 245 right now. Have a big tummy. Xxl fits great! A tiny bit on the more fitted side when I put them on but stretch out throughout the day. So far so good on the riding up between legs too, seem to be long enough for me!

These are super comfortable and a great value. I have a lot of weight fluctuations and bloating. The drawstring with elastic has made it possible to always have the shorts fit.It’s a great length and I wear these shorts to the gym to work out.

Sizing varies by order
Purchased 2 pr. Of these shorts within less than a month and they are not the same. The pair from the first order fit perfectly. Couldn’t have been happier. Washed a couple times just to make sure no issues and decided to order a couple more. The original order shipped from a merchant, not Amazon and included free shipping. When I tried to reorder from the same merchant, no such luck. I tried several ways but the system was only letting me order with the option to ship from Amazon.I ordered 2 pr in the 2nd order. 1 the original navy color, and a pair in black. All three the same size.The waist of all three pair are different. The black is the largest, the original navy in the middle and the newer navy pair the smallest. The original is made in a different country and has a different label than the two newer pair. Likewise the color of the 2 navy pr are slightly different.They do have a tie string to adjust the waist, so if you have smaller waist the size variations may not be a concern. Unfortunately for me it is.In general the 2 larger pairs are comfy and fine for lounging. Good value for the price given they are all cotton.. Saving the smaller pair in case I lose a little weight. 😉

Comfortable and a good deal!
So like a lot of other reviews, I got the black and the dark gray. I would absolutely say they are true to size as a normally in pants now get a large and they are the perfect comfort large – but definitely not too large. The black are 100% cotton and the gray are a cotton poly blend. Hands-down, I like the dark gray short the best! Unlike some of the other reviews, both of mine came, the exact same size and the exact same length, but little bit shorter than I was expecting from the pictures. They were both also a little stiff as others have mentioned before washing. I washed them both right away and the dark gray stayed really nice looking and the cotton black, to me, looks like sloppy shorts that are also magnetic to every cat hair I have lol. As a person that wears almost all black, they’re definitely my least favorite and I am going to wear them for sleeping in because 100% cotton is good for that. I ordered two more of the dark gray just because I like them so much and it’s a good price. They stay nice looking and wash very well. They do have pockets that are fairly deep however my (largest) iPhone has one corner that sticks out, but not enough for it to fall out of the pocket. At first, I thought I would not like the wide waistband, but I actually really like it . Super comfortable! Loose enough to not be tight on your waist, but not loose enough by any means to fall off. You can tuck your hand in there if you want it’s just the perfect amount of comfort! Not sure why just the dark gray is the Cotton poly blend, but as I said by far my favorite as far as looks and wearability. Ordered two more of the dark gray blend and again one of the cotton (light gray) for sleeping in. I don’t feel like the black cotton could look nice enough to wear out and other than sleeping, yard work etc. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the 100% cotton

True to size and nice and soft. They are great for wearing everyday or for working out. They are not a thick fleecy material so they are great for summer.
