Life Long Bad Golfer –
It worked for me! 295yd drive!
At 63 years old, I noticed a big drop in clubhead speed and distance from the last few years. The last time I hit a 300 yd drive was 4 years ago. My average driving distance dropped from 250-260 in 2019 to 220-230 in 2022. I bought this book in March and although I haven’t kept up with the recommended 3 times a week, it has made me feel stronger, more flexible and better balanced over the ball. My driving distance in July is now back to 2019 levels and I hit a drive 298 yds the other day. Perfectly flat fairway, rain overnight and that morning, no wind, no cart path help, just a great drive. I am now disappointed anytime I don’t drive it at least 250. Thanks Joey D! My only negative, is i think it would be helpful to have the page number for each exercise on the workout lists for reference.

I’m hopeful and get the logic of this instruction
updated- my game is improving as is my fitness. When you get to really understand what is being trained, I realize that doing the movements is a form of golf training in itself. I can hit 50 to 100 balls every day with little fatigue and I’m mid-50’s. With most driving ranges closed, I do a light version of one of the workouts before I get to the course to get me loose. When you buy something like this I see only two ways to judge it. 1- are you doing it and 2- does it help. The book is clear enough in most places that I can do the moves. Note that I’m a lifelong weight lifter turned golfer in mid-life so exercise instruction I understand. This is not a general fitness or bulk up book. This is work to improve muscles involved in the golf swing. I will note right away that I think this book has helped with some back pain I’ve had on and off for 20 years already.Does it help my golf game? Well it is July 2018, the reality is I will find out in March 2019 when the season starts. Like any conditioning program this is not a get rich quick scheme. I’ve seen enough positive about the authors ideas though that I don’t see any risk or downside to working on this over the fall and winter. I continue to lift normal weights 2 days a week in addition to this program.

Golf swing
Clear and to the point. It takes practice to a different level. Easy to understand. It takes practice without hitting golf ball

Golfer workouts that make sense
This book offers very clear text descriptions of an extensive set of exercises for golfers. It includes an assessment, similar to what Titleist Performance Institute certified trainers offer. It includes a basic set of 12 essential exercises as well an additional 20 or so that are targeted to specific weaknesses or range of motion limitations identified by doing the easy 6 part assessment. (easy to complete, not easy to do well)Reviews that complained about black and white photos almost kept me from getting this book on my Kindle, but with the exception of one exercise photo set, I found it to be complete and quite clear as to the expected movements. The author writes in a clear and engaging style which made it more interesting to complete the book (exercise descriptions are difficult to make interesting). In addition, he explained WHY some swing flaws occur from a range of motion and strength perspective. I found this content very, very helpful. I highly recommend this book.

This book is very useful
This is a superb book for improving swing kinetics overall mobility ,stability band strength. I would like to see this bookwith shaper pictures.and better paper. As a neurologist trained in motor control this book is the real deal. Take your time and progress with it. You will be amazed at your improved consistency of your swing and lack of pain and stiffness the next morning. B

Book was not âNEWâ as paid for.
Just received this book and was very disappointed to find it was not NEW. Note the ring probably, from a drinking glass, on the back cover near the ISBN number and label.I was required to rate to submit but have not yet read the book. Chose middle because of used appearance of book.

Stick with it
Iâve gone through the month long programs religiously for almost a year now and I can say that my swing only continues to improve. Also, for every day life my mobility and back health is better than ever. My only criticisms are that the workouts are not page numbered: I went through and labeled pages to reference the workouts. Also, like the pros, it is important to supplement the workouts in this book with impulse separation and anti rotation workouts. I go between this book and TPI for my ultimate golf workouts. Many days doing both. I started golf at 39 years old and now one year later have stable driver swing between 115 and 122.

Useful material for golfers, photos hard to see and amateurish
To the point , well written , easy to read , organized , great and useful content . Photos are poor quality, hard to see. Looks like an amateur took them . on top of that , cheaply printed. I only gave 4 star rating because the photos are needed to explain the exercises. Other than that , The material is great .

A really basic book, rife with trivial nonsense and ‘motivational’ waffle. ‘Revolutionary’ it is absolutely not. ‘Biomechanics’ is a nice marketing word, but apart from the front page there is no relevant content. The physiological and neurological aspects of golf fitness are also missing. The first 70 pages can be skipped, as there is nothing there of use. Poor illustrative photos are barely visible; basically a dude taking photos of his buddies doing the exercises in random gyms. The lack of explanation and detail would most likely cause injury more than anything. If you’ve done a cursory search of youtube for ‘golf fitness,’ you already know more than what’s in this book, and could probably do the exercises more safely. Not happy to have wasted a chunk of money.

Amazing information to let you know how to improve your game from a body shape perspective. Fitness plays a very important role in how you play and how to improve. If you’re looking into what exercises you should do to play better golf, this is it. I’m a man in his low fifties and although I’m in shape somewhat, I did also start to loose flexibility and get occasional pain or limited movements due to tightness from age and sedentary life.
