Kamp-Rite is the best!
I have owned this tent for a year, and I have used it exclusively on several camping trips.I used to carry the cheap 3-season dome tents from Walmart when I was younger and into backpacking. You can usually grab one for less than $40. I never liked them much, and I could give you a long list of reasons to spend more money on a good tent, but frankly at $40, that tent was disposable after a year or two.I have the Walmart tent in the storage closet which I keep only if I have someone going with me who doesn’t have a tent.My current tent is this one-person 4-season Kamp-Rite. It works well for my overland Jeep adventures. It’s a bit pricey, but it is convenient, dry, warm and comfortable … and the engineers have thought of everything. I know it also comes in a 2-person model, as well as an oversized one-person model. The tent is built on top of a folding cot. To set up the tent, simply unfold the cot, and the tent pops up. Then snap two clips (to keep the tent from folding up like a taco when you get inside). And tear down is just as simple. Simply undo the clips, and fold the cot and the tent collapses inside the cot.The fabric is a heavy-duty nylon. It comes with a full rainfly and ample sized canvas bag for storage. As with any small tent, including the dome tents, condensation is an issue in cool weather. This tent has two ingenious vents, one on each side near the roof, that you can Velcro open for a bit of cross ventilation during the night to help lessen the condensation issue. All four sides can be opened with only the insect screening for comfortable summertime sleeping. The only issue I have (being an old man) is squeezing my way out of it in the morning. But (again as an old man) I have serious issues with getting out of a dome tent after sleeping on the cold hard ground all night. The completed setup weighs 18 lbs. I think the 2-person model is closer to 30 lbs. After 50 years of dealing with regular tents… The staking, snapping together those 10′ fiberglass poles and trying to thread them through the slots… All that work to sleep on the cold hard ground, then the next morning doing everything in reverse and trying to squeeze the gear into an undersized bag, I consider this Kamp-Rite a real treat.Mine is the regular sized, single person. They do sell an oversized single person model, and a 2-person model. It’s one of the best investments in camping gear I’ve ever made. And when I saw the top quality materials used and the heavy duty construction, I know I’ll be using this tent for many years to come.P.S. I am not a salesperson for the Kamp-Rite company. I just love the engineering behind this product. It helped this old man continue in his love for camping.

PERFECT
This was every thing I needed in a cot and tent. For context, Iâm 5â4â & 140lbs. Itâs super lightweight, so I was able to carry, open, & set it up by myself. I had plenty of room when I sat inside of it & when I laid down. It was surprisingly comfortable even without a mat (although Iâd suggest getting one anyway). The only con is that condensation can build up all over the inside during humid nights if you keep the entire tent zipped up. But thereâs a simple solution! I just left both of the tiny top flaps open to allow air circulation while I slept and the condensation issue immediately stopped!I will be recommending this tent to everyone I know. I have never been so excited about a product before.

Easy, durable, but too much condensation….
My son bought the for when we go camping…..easy setup, comfortable, but their way to much condensation in the mornings. It drips on you when you sleep, and don’t even try to touch the sides as it will practically leak on you.

Great Single Person Tent
This is exactly what we were looking for. I assembled it to see how easy it was and it took me maybe 10 minutes. Really easy to put up and it is very sturdy and plenty of room. This is for my son and husband. They are going on a trip and are only stopping to camp one night at different places. My husband is 6 feet and he has plenty of room. It comes with a rain fly, which was easy to put on and there is plenty of ventilation if you get warm at night. They love that it is a cot and they are off the ground. It was easy to disassemble and can also be used as a lounge chair. It folds up and put into the carrying bag really easy.

Easy to use
Quick setup, keeps you dryer when the water is rising high in a storm.

Good sleep
My daughter and dog enjoyed sleeping in it while in the mountains of Colorado. It was extremely easy to set up and tand take back down. We found out that with a small tent that you need to leave more ventilation open to control the condensation… She loved it..

Instant
This tent is unbelieveably convenient and comfortable. It really is instant! You don’t have to deal with any poles, rope, or stakes, other than hooking and tightening 2 already attached straps on the bottom. Fold the tent open or closed instantly! Perfect amount of space for my portable folding fitness mat for extra cushion, however it was alslready comfortable without! I love it!! Yes, it is fairly large and heavy still when folded up, but it comes with a zippered carry bag that makes it easier to carry on one shoulder much like you would carry a massage table. This sleeping tent is worth it!!! Kamp-Rite knows how to camp right!
