Prospects say

Prospects admire the consolation, traction, and shade of those sneakers. They discover them cushioned with a supportive sole that protects from rocks. Many admire the nice traction on trails and the good stability between feeling the path and safety from rocks underfoot. The sneakers are light-weight and provide good worth for cash. Nevertheless, opinions differ on the match.

    I LOVE THESE SHOES
I love these shoes. I also have them in black. I need waterproof shoes for work in the winter time. I have a slight tailor’s bunion on my right foot so I have to be careful when buying shoes. Shoes too snug or tight causes me major pain since I’m in my feet most of the day for work. It’s getting worse as I age and gain weight. These shoes however have a perfect toe box and great support with my plantar fasciitis inserts. It has great traction and I really appreciate the stretchy shoelaces. I LOVE that it’s Goretex. It’s hard to find comfortable waterproof shoes since they are less giving. I also wear thick socks since it’s less padded compared to there running shoes. My only con, if there was one, is that the color is much lighter in person than shown in the picture, (which won’t be a con for some.) It’s very bright and cream colored. I thought it was more of a khaki color. These shoes are comfortable, cute and serves its purpose with style. I also wear their Guide 16 almost everyday during the non rainy season. Love those too. BTW it took me several months to get my size (7.5) since they were always out of stock so get it if it’s available in your size.

    I expected this
I love these shoes! They confirmed my ongoing fondness of the Saucony brand. No breaking-in required. They fit great and feel great on the trail. My trails are 75% rocks of all sizes, some rather sharp. These handle rocks and uneven surfaces very well. They’re gripy too, traveling on wet rocks and moss-covered surfaces. I feel sure-footed in these, and they allow me to be very agile on the trails.Update: I didn’t buy these for snow, but here I am in the snow with them! I was curious to see how they’d do. I don’t think this pair is labeled as water resistant, but my feet stayed dry, so they must be at least somewhat. I was outside in very deep snow for as long as it took to build a snowman, and they kept my feet dry. And of course the traction was superb.

    Rugged and grippy
Comfortable, rugged, and grippy. Fit is moderate, neither narrow nor wide. Toes box is fairly roomy. Subtractacting one star because I have to lose the 4mm drop due to needing my arch support insoles. I wish the drop was built into the shoe itself. The insoles it comes with seem nice and comfortable (better than average), but I need more arch support. Has a nice balance between feeling the trail and protection from rocks underfoot. I wish it had a better toe plate cover. Definitely gotten some toe bruises from kicking tree roots and rocks at the top. I guess that’s another ding. Nothing’s perfect. This is my second pair. My first has gone thru four 50k races plus training, so they hold up well. (Mainly bought this because sometimes, it’s nice to throw on a dry pair at mid-race drop point. Iykyk) They do dry out quickly after running thru rivers and streams. They clean up well in the washer to get mud out. Would definitely buy again!

Weird fit. Narrow toe box, roomy heel slips
Looking to switch from my usual Asics, my feet are narrowish in forefoot and heel. These saucony’s are-comfortable soles-run about half size short (ie go up half ordinary shoe size)-narrow forefoot-heel doesn’t match the narrow forefoot and run a bit large so my heel slips when fully lacedSeems comfy tho so no stars off. Just is not the correct shape/fit for my feet.

    Great trail shoe!
I love this shoe. I’ve been wearing the Saucony Women’s Peregrine sneaker for several “generations” (11, 12, 13) – love all iterations. My “other” running shoe – for roads or well-groomed trails, is usually ASICS Gt2000 or something similar (but always ASICS). I used to only wear Peregrines for hiking or rough trail runs- but then I started rotating in the Peregrines more regularly into daily activities due to the crazy number of rainy days in Los Angeles over the last two years – as I wanted a shoe with more traction on wet surfaces. They’ve grown on me!!! I wear a 9.5 in dress/casual shoes, a 10 in tennis shoes that will be used for roads or flatter trails, and a 10.5 for trail runners that will be used for steeper trail-runs or hiking. It’s hard for me to tell the difference between iterations of the peregrine. These (v13) do seem lighter/more nimble, which is nice for daily jogs. But earlier versions (v11-12) felt sturdier, which is kind-of reassuring on hikes (eg, Mt Baldy… 4000ft elevation gain over 4-mi, and fairly rocky, gravely terrain).I did have an issue with the v12 treads “squeaking” and tearing off on pavement during road runs – v13 hasn’t done that yet…I’ve never needed “break-in” time with any Peregrine. For whatever reason, I found v13 harder to get the lacing tension just right. First few runs required a lot of stopping to re-tie/adjust laces… it’s something to do with the slight updates to the type/style of fabric/mesh uppers. This happened a little with v12, but not at all with v11.In the size 10, my baby toe gets “pinched”/squeezed a little bit more in the v13 relative to v11/12… so I think the footbed narrows a bit at the toe in recent generations (this could also be due to very slight shoe-to-shoe differences in the manufacturing process, and not a uniform design change in v13).

Je n’ai pas aimé que les lacets ne soient pas de la même taille, ça donne une image cheap alors que le prix n’est pas donné

Been wearing them actively for half a year. They’re so comfortable (after wearing them in, that is) that there’s no other shoe I wanna wear anymore. However, the tread has worn away quite a bit, and the mesh in the corners is also giving away, so these may go in the bin by Christmas. :/
