Redemption, suspense, love
Belle’s father is a doctor, and she is a nurse. They work at the Willow Creek Hospital. Belle’s mother died; her mother and father both took ill, and only her father survived – but only 1/2 of him appears to be left after such a blow to his heart, losing his beloved wife. Belle’s brother ran off, without keeping in touch. More heartache for her father. Belle’s uncle is the town Sheriff. Terry is a shell of a man. He is in a horrible gang; the leader was in the Civil War with Terry’s father. He brings Terry into the gang at a very young age. Terry wants to escape but he is trapped. One wrong move and he will be killed. Thus sets up this wonderful story of intrigue and love from Grace Clemens. It is a gripping story and will keep you interested.

Exciting!
To start off with, there were some typos. That made the book harder to read. But, I did love how the author worded everything. I felt like I could easily imagine what it would be like being there with everybody speaking in the way they were and I really enjoyed reading this book. It had a good ending and I really appreciated that.

Amazing story!
Terry was so young when his father died in the war and his mother worked for a gang of outlaws. When she was murdered he had no one and eventually ended up in the gang. He worked so hard to be a better person and found forgiveness. Belle was a nurse at her fathers hospital. Her brother had disappeared 2 years ago and the family couldnât find out what happened to him. This is an incredible story. The writing is so good, taking you so deep into the story and the characters.

Another outstanding novel by Grace Clemens!
As I selected another Grace Clemens novel to read, I was drawn to the word âinspirationalâ in the subtitle of this book. Two days later, I must say that âinspirationalâ is an understatement! I was thrilled with this book as I have a background in healthcare and thoroughly enjoyed the descriptions of the key characters in this book,and the well-researched aspects of medical care delivered well over a century ago. This book also had romance, passion, a deeply Christian perspective, and suspense.You guessed rightâ¦I loved this book!!

Great Story
I enjoyed reading this story. Seeing Belle tend to Terry’s wounds when he’s brought to the hospital unconscious and with bullet wounds to his back and his leg. The love that blossoms between them despite him being an ex bandit from a really bad gang, the same gang her Uncle the sheriff wants to bring down. With Terry’s help they come up with a plan to capture him. When it’s all said and done then ending is just as good as the beginning. This was a really good book.

Different storyline
Ms. Clemens writes well, clearly and descriptively. I loved this storyline as it is different from the usual historical western romance. Good characters, good storyline, suspense, love blossoms and there is a surprising HEA. Loved it!!
