This is a great Lenten devotional by Max Lucado. Each dayâs reading is a perfect length with a scripture, a coinciding excerpt from one of his books, and a prayer. Each is Christ-centered and focuses on the days preceding and subsequent to the crucifixion and His resurrection. Each is thought-provoking and invites one into each scene, consider the events, and consider our own response.This is definitely something I would want to use year after year! The print copy would make a good gift, also. The Book is not at all useful during 40 days of meditation. I dont know whether it is written by Max Lucado. The title of the book is totally misleading. There is hardly anything worth learning from this book

Max Lucado, you have done it again. The readings in this book retell the Easter story as we know it BUT each section makes you really think. I am really enjoying these readings throughout Lent. Highly recommend this book.
