Unconditional love
TJ and Melody have been best friends since high school. Actually TJ is in love with Melody but is afraid if he lets he know how he feels it will end their friendship.Melody is a talented young lady who has overcome much in her life. However, she grew up with an abusive mother who constantly told her how stupid she was and how she could never do anything right. Unfortunately, Melody believes her and blames anything that goes wrong on herself. She feels that she is not worthy of anyoneâs love, and she never wants to tell anyone how she feels.Emily has done a wonderful job in telling this story and showing how God loves each person and has amazing things planned for them. TJ is so good at showing this unconditional love to Melody, but she is scared that if she confides in him it will ruin their friendship.This is a delightful story with strong characters. The storyline keeps you involved and addresses some sensitive issues. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a friends to lovers relationship.I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

A clean friendship to more romance
TJ and Melody were best friends. TJ wanted more but was afraid of losing Melody so goes along with the friend relationship.I liked the lessons this story conveyed – honesty, friendship, loyalty – but the most important lesson was that God loves us, no matter what.This story held my interest until about the 75% mark. Then, and this is the reason for 4 stars, IMO both main characters spent too much time in their own heads going over and over the same thoughts instead of talking to each other.I’m glad I read this story because I needed the reminder of God’s love for each of us.I was given an ARC of this book from the author but all comments are my honest opinion, given voluntarily.

Love This Novel!
This story grabbed me and kept me awake way too late, but I couldnât put it down! TJ and Melody have such a wonderful history as friends, but yet there was so much holding them back. The author fleshed out Melodyâs past so surprisingly as the story developed – and it was part of TJ,s growth as well. Love the Christian foundation throughout.This one will go on my â favoritesâ shelf for sure! Iâm excited as well, as the author has an extended (2nd) epilogue to download for free too. These are characters I hate to leave. Canât wait for the next in the series!

Great place to start!
Engaging, well written Christian romance without preaching. This is the first in a series in which I had already read the delightful next one and wondered how this would hold up next to it. It held up beautifully and urge you to read this story. Others have given too much of the story away and Emily Dana Botrous does a superior job in telling the story and making it come alive.

With Love, Melody by Emily Dana Botrous is a good, and enjoyable sweet inspirational romance read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. Melody on the outside she portrays the woman that has it altogether but in the inside she is really a mess of emotions. TJ has loved Melody forever but he has let the fear of rejection to make his life choices.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

i was surprised at how much i ABSOLUTELY loved this.
I always love the guy falls first trope. And sheâs the only one for him trope. I appreciated how the author took her time before she gave us crucial flashbacks.
