This was easy to assemble and it suits my outdoor cat’s needs. It is sturdy, warm, and affordable. He didn’t like the plastic flap because it pushes inward but not outward. He couldn’t lift it up once inside and was trapped. I took siscors and cut the flap in strips vertically like the plastic strips used in a walk in cooler. That way he could get through the flap easily from outside or inside the house while keeping heat in and wind out.

Very challenging to build!
I have four cat houses now two of this brand and two of another. These were so challenging to build compared to the other ones that I bought. Iâve just bought them so I canât really rate how well they keep rain out or the cats go into them they do have a strange smell to them. I think itâs the product that theyâre made of. Iâm hoping that wonât put the Cats off going in. They were cheap. I donât know the value for the money yet and build quality. They are tight, so Iâm hoping that that works to keep them waterproof with the domed lid. It should allow water to roll off instead of going in. I donât think Iâll buy these again in the future though

Do not buy!
So I didn’t even realize I had purchased this until a day or so after where I must have left in in my cart accidentally with another purchase… I didn’t mind though because I was looking for something to go inside another structure for warmth for my cats… this is not it… doesnât come with instructions … then the frame is way way too big for the actual house that is so flimsy it won’t hold up… not worth the money… I used to find a lot of affordable items on here but recently it has been more junk then good… this is definitely junk!… do not purchase…. the poles won’t even stay together … this is horrible

The plastic window makes it difficult to get in and out of, we removed it. Very sturdy, the temperature stays perfectly warm.

There are not assemby instructions to these shelters. They are thick, so I think that is a plus. I don’t like the smell. I think it is a heavy glue smell that may be dangerous to cats. We let ours air out before we put them in the garage for the cast. The bars for the base need to be pushed in really ard in order to fit. I recommend putting the frame together first and make sure it is tight before even trying to attach it to the bottom, because it won’t fit any other way. The zipper is hard to get started and corners are hard to get around, but maybe it will pay off after the smell goes away…if it does. I think I would have rather spent my money on a wooden house.

Difficult to build
Alignment of the zipper took me about 20 minutes then forcing it to zip around the corners and now the legs do not fit. There were no instructions I had to go back to the product description to find them. So if I canât get the legs on itâs going back!
