I opened this item and put batteries in it the way the directions said to. Within 10 seconds it started sparking and smelled like melting wires. Clearly a safety issue and I hope no one else gets a defective one

I love that this pulse oximeter is battery powered and comes with batteries! One less power cord to find when needed most! Having asthma this is an absolute necessity, Iâm so glad I got it when I did! It does come with a few different options for how to carry it as well, a case, a keychain, and a detachable necklace so you can literally bring it anywhere and anyway!
