The best collagen supplement around!
I’ve tried a variety of collagen supplements to help with my dry, brittle skin and hair. Vital Proteins is by far the best of them! The powder dissolves so well and doesn’t become clumpy/chunky (not exactly something I enjoy drinking). I’m also impressed that it doesn’t have a flavor. Other products tend to have a strong dairy taste/flavor, but I honestly can’t tell that I have this in my drink. I tend to mix a scoop into my coffee in the morning with a bit of flavored creamer, and it’s absolutely wonderful. My skin feels smoother, my nails actually grow, and I don’t have the same cracking and dryness that I usually get in the winter.

Iâve used marine collagen before and there was always a slight tinny taste even when I used in teas or tried to cover it up. I was worried about a similar aftertaste with this, and was very happily surprised!!I add this to my pancakes , teas , matcha, basically anything Iâm eating or drinking that day and I do NOT TASTE A THING! Itâs incredible, I really struggle with taking pills and the way that using powder supplements changes the flavor of things, but i do not have that problem in the slightest with this brand.Only issue I will take off one star for is that you have to use 4 tablespoons to get to the serving size of 20g of collagen protein. This is equivalent to 1/4 cup which is quite excessive. Thankfully, it can mix well and dissolve easily, but just note that if it would be a problem for you.Be warned, It does not come with a scoop, I personally think itâs a great idea because we all own measuring tools, so lowering any plastic waste seems good to me.

My daughter uses Vital Proteins Collagen and when I often visit her I then use her supply. It was always consistent in having no taste at all and did not clump up and defy mixing in a liquid. My home brand of choice that I have used for years is packaged in a similar container with a lot of green packaging accents…. it is inconsistent in its ability to readily mix in a fluid, and my most recent batch was simply terrible and would just clump up and leave a residue in the the cup or glass after the liquid was consumed. I asked my self why don’t I just change to a brand that I personally known to be far superior, and so it is that I now have.
