Unique and very pleasant smell
Unlike some of the other reviewers, I have had no problems with wax puddling and interfering with the wick. I love lavender, but this isn’t exactly lavender – it’s got an earthy, almost smoky quality to it that cuts the sweetness and adds a bit of depth. I’m not explaining it right – but it is a lovely, non-cloying scent. I’ve used about half of the candle so far, and the wick is just fine, and it’s burning down the way it should. So glad I got this! There are just times you need to freshen up your home, and this does just that.

Didn’t realize I had the wax melts too!
So apparently I love this scent so much I already had the wax melts and didn’t realize it!! These candles are packaged so well, unlike some other I have received broken. I have trouble sleeping so I generally light this candle in my bedroom early in the evening so that by the time I start my nightly routine, my room is filled with a nice scent. I really like it because it’s not a super heavy scent, and I feel like the candle burns for an extremely long time!

Very light smell
I smelled this at the store and I have kept an eye out on Amazon for it to be in stock or to get it at a decent price. I grabbed it when I saw it for a good deal, and I donât know if it was old or what the problem was but I could barely smell it at all. I have bought many candles by yankee on Amazon and never had an issue not being able to smell them. I don’t like heavy over powering smells, however this was so light I really do feel like something was wrong with the candle. I suggest you smell it at the store so you know what itâs supposed to smell like. Like I said all other ones I have bought such as pink sand always have smelled perfect.

Arrived melted. Lid open, weak scent.
Arrived melted. Clearly box was stored sideways instead of upright during a hot day. The lid wasnt sealed shut and the scent is very weak for a Yankee candle. Would not buy again from Amazon

The candle arrived well packed like an other Yankee Candle, but this one had its wax melted and settled on one side of the bottle. It appears that the bottle was on its side when it got warm enough to melt the wax, have it settle on the sideways bottle, then solidify. There was no wick in sight as it was buried in the sideways wax. We had to warm up the jar, and while the wax melted, the wick in the middle tilted in a strange way and we had to dig around in hot wax to right it up. It was an unpleasant mess.
