Great Book for Empowering Girls
Bought this book for my Daughter and read some of the stories with her. Just a great overall book for empowering little girls and women alike. In my opinion this book is great in helping to build and shape a foundation for success. My only complaint if any is that each of the stories should of been expanded a bit more rather then a single page.

Perfect for women’s History month!
I got this book for my homeschooled kids and we read one page a day during women’s History month. Some of these stories are amazing and there’s even some that I’ve never heard about before! It’s opened the door for a ton of conversations spanning multiple topics. Definitely a good purchase!

Inspirational
My 8-9 year old fell in love with this for homeschool. We use it as a read outlouds for history supplement, one page per day. I could not say enough positive things about this book. Her work ethics has improved, along with a more of a can do attitude. I do credit a lot of that to inspirational reading. Thank you for such wonderful reading material and for history. 10 stars.

Great stories about females heros, except for Betsy Boyd
I would have given this book five stars because it’s beautiful and well done and awesome for little girls to learn about females that have done great things… Unfortunately putting
Betsy Boyd a Confederatee spy in it, it really makes you wonder what the message is that they’re trying to send. There are so many other women that have done good. A Confederate spy is not a hero, they are a traitor.
Please remove her from this book and replace her with someone that did things for the greater good.

Great gift for young readers!
Beautiful, whimsical illustrations and meaningful, positive tales of courageous women throughout history fill the pages of this book. The story about the confederate spy has been blown out of proportion by some reviewers. History cannot be erased, and the woman in the story was still brave, cunning, and resourceful even if we donât agree with her cause.
