I have Thin hair that curls and straightens very easily. This flat iron doesn’t get quite as hot as I’m use to, and after a few times I have to let it heat back up. That saying I also can only straighten a small amount of hair at a time. It works, it’s not spectacular and not for thick hair or anyone in a hurry, but it works

Surprisingly for a cheap price it does the job on short layers.
I am in the process of growing my hair out, but my layers are short and this believe it or not does the job good enough to where it makes my hair look pretty good. It gets hot really fast especially for the price. The switch is a little flimsy and you have to make sure you have it right on the temperature setting line or it goes off. Not that big of a deal because it will stay on once you make sure it’s secure on the setting. I had bought an $80 one on here a year ago, but never used it. I went to use it and I got shocked. Something was wrong with the cord and I have to throw it away because I had not had the package or receipt not to mention it’s been a year. I just bought this one for a quick fix until I can afford to buy a more expensive one.

Biggest problem with this straightener is its not truly a mini, it’s medium at best. 2/3 full size. I was expecting something… well..mini. This is not mini, just a small full-sized straightener.Other than that it works very well – it has a low and high heat setting and works like your expect. It’s just bigger than you’d expect. If you want a true mini straightener look elsewhere. But it IS a quality straightener.
