Great shelter
Using in northern Maine with heavy snow loads. This is replacing flatter carpet roofing that collapsed last winter in storms. Itâs extremely sturdy, all pieces fit well together. It went together easily, itâs heavy duty, the price point was great and o love how my chicken runs look. We attached to our fence but have since purchased lower horse panels to lower it down a bit to prevent rain and snow from going in. I also bought the side panels for winter. I also purchased a second one to complete the covering for the chicken run and will be installing that shortly. Highly recommend.

My new pasture shelter
The shelter was easy to assemble. There were no parts missing. It looks really nice in my pasture. That is very important to me. The only negative thing I can see is the box it came is is not sturdy enough to hold the weight of all the parts. It had been taped back together several times by FedEx before it got to me.

Easy and quick to put up, works great as a temporary shelter!
I’ve set up two of these so far, and they’re easy and quick to assemble. Practice makes perfect! ð The frame is functional but not particularly strong.
Anchor this thing down with adequate support. Don’t procrastinate on securing the cover as I did; you’ll regret it! At the very least, use the supplied auger anchors. If you’re in a windy area, consider upgrading to heavy-duty augers or cementing down posts.
I learned my lesson the hard way: I procrastinated anchoring the cover, and my first one was destroyed by a strong wind (around 20-30 MPH) just two days after setup. The cover acted like a chute, flying 100 yards down my field and into a fence, mangling the frame and tearing the cover. Fortunately, the three supporting fence panels remained intact.
On the bright side, in windy conditions, this cover turns into a great big green Shelter Logic dragon that can fly around the field and provide de-spook training or even jump training for any horses nearby! Who knew a giant flying cover would give a horse a new giddyup gear propelling them to record jump heights clearing fences to escape? Jokes aside, this is VERY dangerous, and unlike my pride, no horses were injured… just anchor your cover.
For my second cover, I used aftermarket heavy auger anchors without procrastination, and it has stayed securely in placeâeven after similar winds struck again a couple of weeks later.” ðð¬ï¸ð

Crappy ! save your money
Fragile. Rips, wears almost immediately. Poor value for your money. Switch to a regular blue tarp on top. It’s says one year warranty but company won’t take refunds beyond 30 days.

Have two and they are great
These Shelter’s are perfect for giving shelter to your equines, sheep, goats, etc. Those who claim they need 4 people, I beg to differ, I built the two I bought by myself and had no other help. It isn’t that hard if you know what your are doing. The only thing I did not like is the shelter canopy itself last for maybe 2 season’s before it starts getting some tears or holes in it; however, where I live we do get strong winds and 100+ degree weather most days of the summer which really damages all kinds of fabric out in those conditions. But it ships with thinner canopy’s and you can order thicker ones in the future when you have to replace the canopy cover, the thicker canopy has been on for 3 seasons now with a little tearing on one. The manufacturer is great about dealing with any issues when it is shipped to you. One was missing parts, the end was ripped open and taped shut from shipping, thanks Fedex for caring for the box. This isn’t the fault of the manufacturer, and they had me the replacement parts in 3 days. The tearing you see in the above photos from one reviewer is them making the straps too tight when you anchor the canopy to the frame. For some reason people think you can ratchet clamp these down as much as you want and the fabric wont tear, when it will in fact tear if too tight. Basically easy to build if you use common sense and are handy. I am ordering our third one today or tomorrow since they are so easy to build and use, and work really well for sheltering the animals. All in all a great product.

Hard to assemble the frame with misaligned holes.
Product was delivered with the box ripped and pieces hanging out. Luckily all pieces were accounted for. The installation instructions are well interesting but was able to figure them out without too much difficulty. The real problem is a lot of the holes were not lined up right to get screws in easily. The tarp was also harder to get on then we thought it would be but much easier then the lining up all the metal brackets and placing the screws. So far it has held up but every wind we have I honestly have worried. The fabric is not very sturdy in my opinion and even with it anchored down properly the way it anchors I think could easily be taken down by a tough storm/wind/snow. It does look nice though and much taller than realized.

We are using these as portable goat shelters. So they are not up on panels. They are nice and light for moving around as we graze. The goats do climb on them, so we have repairs, but black gorilla tape works and they also send patches with the box. We will probably end up putting them on light skids tinning the tops.
To move them from site to site, we do have to take them apart, but taking apart and putting back together is relatively simple.
