Great product!!!
I’ve used Nivea products for years. Their after shave “balm” is so soft and smooth, that I never used any other after shaves that sting or burn again. The “balm” is the after shave, in other words. But, for this product of Nivea shaving gel cream, it’s the softest shave I’ve had after using many different products with trial and error for years. This gel foams so easily once rubbed in your hands. Whether it’s an electric razor, a thin beard!a+, metal razor, or any other product, combined, the use of these two Nivea products will keep your face from having knicks or small cuts on it. I mean, I’ve gotten to the point now where I haven’t received any minor cuts at all. Both products seem oily upon application, but dry within 5-minutes after full wash off. Or, just dab it with a towel after you’re Done and ready!NOTE: This is NOT a thin cream. It shouldn’t be used as one or used in place of a cream. Overall, I give this shaving gel a letter grade of A- only because no product is perfect. Amazon has maniacal reviewers, so, I’m keeping this review as objective (as possible). My number ratio rating is an 8/1!0 Highly recommend!

Great for sensitive skin users
This product is great, and it is not heavily fragranced. I use this in conjunction with Schick Hydro 5 disposable razors, and I believe I have found the key combination for sensitive skin shavers! The formula has recently changed, and created a bit of drag over the skin vs. the previous version, which was more slippery. Given that I work for a major consumer products company, this was probably a cost savings initiative, which I can respect. The product still performs to my expectations. We currently have about 9 of these at home and can’t use them fast enough!

Nivea makes the chore of shaving easier.
Don’t look for any magic words here. Shaving, as I said, can be a chore. Every day. Am a blade shaver who has tried power shavers without the kind of results I would like. Found sensitive skin Nivea and it helps. Keep looking for the “magic” razor or again trying the electric razors, but am sold on Nivea. And this choice is personal to myself. Can I recommend it? Yes. It’s worth a try if you are dissatisfied with your shave foam.

Excellent moisturizing prior to shave
Just a little goes a long way!I used to have dry and flaky skin, especially around the ears.I just rinse my face and the try to get about a one inch of gel. (not so easy until you get used to how fast it wants to come out) The gel almost immediately begins to change into foam… while I apply to my face.. if I got too much, I also apply it to my forehead. it does wonders for my wrinkles (grin)

This is a great price for 3. It’s the only brand hubby will use.
My husband loves Nivea products. He uses the shaving cream as well as the post shave balm. He likes this shaving cream because it lathers well, lasts a long time, smells great, and is gentle on his skin. He prefers the gel because just a small amount goes a very long way and he says it works better than foam shaving cream. It’s great quality for a drugstore product and the price here (I paid $9.57 for 3 and they are now marked down to $7.84 for 3) is cheaper than any of my local stores. It’s a great product that works perfectly.
