Closest shave I ever felt in an electric shaver and great price!
I only just recently got this, and normally I wait a few weeks before reviewing a product, but I have to say that this exceeded my expectations and I am so happy with this product that I feel it’s only right to just review it now. I used to buy a much cheaper (1/2 the price of this) wet/dry shaver, but I had to keep buying them on an every-other-month basis (at least) because they would die. They also gobbled up batteries. I was still fine with using them and budgeting for them because they were so cheap, but we are about to go on a much longer family beach vacation than we normally stay, and since my last cheapie electric razor just died, I really wanted to get something way more reliable (but not bust the bank). Plus, I was tired of buying batteries for something like this. I figured out quickly that I’m not saving much money if I am having to replace batteries often. When using any kind of electric shaver as opposed to regular disposable razors, I always figure it’s just a given that you’re never going to get as close of a shave. For me, this is actually a good thing. I unfortunately grow coarse leg hair really fast – as in, right after using a nice, new (and expensive – I don’t buy cheap ones), disposable razor head, by mid to end of day I already feel a little “stubbly”. The double whammy for me is that if I use a razor too much (more than every few days), I get massive razor burn and ingrown hairs faster than the blink of an eye no matter how many different techniques I use (special shaving lotions, moisturizing shaving creams, exfoliation first, “shave with the grain then against technique”, etc…trust me, I’ve tried it ALL!) to carefully shave. It’s super frustrating. When getting a decently close shave but not SUPER close shave, I don’t get the razor burn or ingrown hairs. Especially in areas I do NOT need that to happen. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. At 40 years old, I would have thought this part of my life would get a little easier. Nope.Sorry for all the TMI, but if you are a woman who was unfortunate enough to inherit horrid, rapidly-growing coarse leg hair genes like me, I think you will appreciate this electric shaver like I do. The price is right, and if you have to do something similar to what I have to in order to make sure you don’t feel like you are a freak with leg hair that seems to have a mind of its’ own (aka, the “MUST-GROW-FAST-AND-FLAP-IN-WIND-ASAP” type), then this is honestly a really nice, happy medium. It gives the closest shave I ever had with an electric razor.Extra bonus points? Straight out of the box, it was all charged up and ready to go. And…”Look, Ma! No Batteries!” Just charge it after shaving. No stupid charge cords, either. Plug the charger in, and stick the shaver onto the charger. Done.I also comes with a handy little travel pouch. Another reviewer mentioned that you can’t fit the charger and electric shaver into the pouch. Actually, you can. You just have to put the charger in first, then with (very light) maneuvering, you can throw your shaver in there too and pull up the drawstring. The little brush it comes with easily slides into it, too, which brings me to….Cleaning? As far as I can see (and used), if you use that little brush to clean it out after shaving (which takes all of MAYBE 10 seconds?) it is super easy. I am impressed for the price. I shaved with it dry, straight out of the box (for at LEAST 10 minutes), and my hubs touched my leg and was…like, “Hey, baby. You feel nice.” I think that is all the testimony I need, really. I dry shaved out of the box and my hubs was happy, and stuck it on the charger right after. Several hours later, it is working great.I will update this review if something starts going downhill. I know it is probably too soon to tell whether this will be super reliable for a long period, but I honestly believe this will be fantastic for our upcoming beach vacay.***UPDATE***I have been using this for months, and it still works great! Very happy with the performance of this item, and it has more than paid for itself (compared to how I had to constantly buy batteries and a new cheapie electric shaver every so often before).

Wet/Dry Shaver is GREAT!
Last week, after shaving with a razor, I decided that I no longer had the ability to do the acrobatic moves required to shave my legs in the tub. I came out looking like a murder victim with blood running down my legs. So I finally broke down and bought this razor in the hopes of easier shaving. I purchased this one because of the lower price combined with well over 300 decent reviews. A product with that many good reviews means it is liked, and is a decent enough design to hold its own against the more expensive electric razors out there. (One reviewer mentioned some other razor, saying everyone would like it better, but the cost was three times of this one with MUCH WORSE reviews, and I could not warrant over a hundred dollars for it.)It showed up yesterday in its nice little box. After reading reviews of how it plugged directly into the wall, I had already purchased a short extension cord for it to plug into, now it can sit on the counter. I followed the instructions about charging it for 12 hours. (All Good equipment with batteries tells you to do that.) Then today is the first time I ever used an electric razor in my 40+ years. The first thing I wish to say to everyone complaining about an electric razor not being as close as a blade. NO ELECTRIC RAZOR WILL CUT AS CLOSE AS A BLADE! But this one is real close, if you work at it a bit. The first time over my legs I used a light touch and it left a bit of stubble. So I went over it again, slowly and experimenting with pressure and direction to see how close of a shave I could get. While it does not feel baby butt smooth it did a real good job. I have only used this dry and I will update once I use it wet.PROS: It comes apart for easy cleaning and future replacement of blades. Can be used wet. Until I started looking for this razor I did not know there was such a thing as a wet use electric razor, YEA! The charger sits nicely on the counter with the extension cord I bought for it, but even if I did not have the cord, the unit snaps securely in the charger and dose not fall out unless you were to knock it onto something. It lightweight and easy to use. I do not understand peoples complaints about the buttons, they have a little locking button to push before sliding it up and the design of the unit would make them very difficult to break them off. The Pivoting head makes it easier to reach those annoying areas (like under the knees.) [When using a blade you have to keep it at a constant angle to not cut yourself.] Comes with a bikini attachment (I have yet to try,) and nice clear plastic cover to protect the heads from dust and other things. It has the “GOOD HOUSEKEEPING” seal of approval on it. I am NOT spending $15 on my replacement blades every few months which sometimes end up rusty in my shower. I do NOT have to shave in the tub doing acrobatics.Another PRO: I was able to purchase an extended warranty for two years for an additional nine dollars. For me, it is well worth paying that little extra for when unknown problems arise.CONS: UM… It was not FREE! (But then if it were, I doubt it would be as good of a product.) It did not come with any sort of way to keep all the components together when not in use, but that is an easy fix I will go get a little makeup bag to store it in….PROBLEM SOLVED :<) It does seem a bit rough on the skin, but nothing major. It may be a problem if you have super sensitive skin, but I have a skin which is a little sensitive and I did not notice any adverse effects from using it. This also could be from my inexperience of using an electric razor. ITS PINK!!!! Well, more of a pink purple, but still very pink.All-in All, I fully recommend this electric razor to anyone who needs an inexpensive decent razor to use, UNLESS you want want a shave that works like a blade, then I recommend that you save your money and stick with blades. For anyone wanting a CLOSER shave, there are the masochistic epilators, or the one shaver which actually burns and removes the hair (for three easy payments of $$$...AS SEEN ON TV... What ever brand that is), or laser removal. Anyway, it works for my needs, and it is a KEEPER!Good Luck.

Works awesome, with one minor gripe
I like how this works and I love that it’s waterproof (the main reason for getting it). My only complain is that the previous generation version we own, which has since been discontinued, feels more hefty and durable. This new one feels noticeably cheaper and less sturdy, like it would for sure break if it was dropped. Other than that, awesome trimmer!

The product itself is amazing. Gave me a very close finish to razors. It is lighy and very ergonomic and easy to use and clean. There are some problems. One, the battery doesn’t last long, it is a bit noisy, but for me the major drawback is the price. It is very pricy and at the same time, they sent it with a USA charger (120V) so it needs a power adapter too!!! Add more to the price! Also in the description it says it will come with a travel pouch but it was not in the box
