Smooth and long-lasting
This gel pencil is very long-lasting and smudge proof. My skin is kind of oily, and usually my makeup tends to melt and smudge but this pencil works for me perfectly. It might be a little too soft/smooth sometimes but I think keeping it in a freezer will help. I love the shade, too. Itâs night too dark and not too light, just very natural on me. Iâll be buying this again

This is the perfect smooth, no flake eyeliner! I purchased the brown and it looks so Amazing on blue eyes!
I use it on my lash line and not my water line because my eyes were to sensitive to put it there.
It lasts all day and comes off easy with my face wash. It is also easy to sharpen. I canât wait to buy more colors.

Love Julep!
My oily skin has made finding lasting eye shadows and liners a challenge throughout my life… but Julep eye products last through the day! They are easy to apply, blend nicely and are easily removed. They have a a great selection of colors (classic & fun colors) and finish types (matte, shimmer and metallic). I do find some of the shimmers a bit more of a metallic/frost than a “shimmer”, but that’s my personal take.
The price point is a touch higher than I personally like, but given the ease of application, durability through the day and ease of removal (micellar water my preference), and huge color selection they are worth it and I will continue to purchase Julep products.

Non-incentivized review: pretty color, no staying power
Beautiful color but even with setting spray and two setting powders the eyeliner smears and has no longevity. Plus itâs impossible to get a fine point when you sharpen it.

The eyeliner stays in place all day. Wherever you put it, that’s where it stays until you take it off. It’s not workable so be sure you get it right the first time. I bought black. It’s dark but soft looking. The pencil lead wears down pretty fast so the pencil may wear down quickly.

The shade terracotta matte is beautiful. Itâs such an easy, natural looking eyeliner if you want a bit of definition, but nothing too harsh, as I have very pale skin, and even brown can look too intense for me sometimes. Itâs a really great eyeliner for a day look. So easy to pop on, itâs really creamy, and doesnât go on dry and skippy at all, so Iâd say itâs just as good as any of the more expensive brands. You can blend it too before it sets. It stays put brilliantly, it lasts all day! And I have very oily eyelids. I also find it really easy to remove, just by washing my face. I have powered through the pencil quite quickly due to sharpening it, I would love this eyeliner in a retractable format. I havenât found Iâve experienced any eye irritation at all with these. Brilliant eyeliner! So easy to use for a quick, no fuss, eye makeup look, so itâs very functional for someone like me that doesnât want to fuss over makeup application for hours.
