I’m going to review two products.Bit about me, I’m nearing my 40’s, dry to normal skin, live in Wisconsin where the winters dry out my skin and summers make it normal.CeraVe: moisturizing cream (normal to dry)my first tub.When you open this product it looks shiny & slimy (at least to me). When applying it feels very tacky, doesn’t go on smoothly and I feel I have to use more product (compared to cetaphil)It drys very fast and you can’t even tell you put it on. Skin is well moisturized with no lotion feel to it. I like to use this on my face under makeup and under my fake tanner. It works great! My skin feels well moisturized all day long with this product.Update june 2017. So I still agree with above but I would breakout once in a while. I chucked it up to being a mom, stress, kids. I’ve stopped using it on my face and I now hardly ever break out. I’m not positive if it’s the product but I don’t love it as much as cetaphil and once I’ve used it up will not buy it again. Give 3 stars.Cetaphil: moisturizing cream (dry & sensitive skin)my second tub. (Well I need to buy my 3rd tub)When you open this you can tell it’s very very thick & creamy. I do feel my makeup will not last as long but I still like to use it on my face.I ran out of this in spring and got CeraVe but felt like something was missing. I’m on my second tub now.June2017 update: still love it and need to order my 3rd tub…I can see pros and cons to both. A manly man may not like cetaphil (or maybe) or you may not like the slight greasy feel of it well working with hands or outdoors.With my dry skin I love it. It makes your skin look healthy & glowing. A little goes a long way.

I had a started to notice as the weather started to change this year from spring to fall that I had some area’s on my arms, wrist & legs that were dry & I have never had that before so I looked up creams that were good for dry or quenched skin that just needed a little extra nourishment/food for the skin (rather then the soul ðð) read alot but this one just sounded like it offered exactly what my skin was asking for and after the first time I applied it I knew it definitely was it was very thick but in the best of ways & it went on and my skin felt much more nourished & it did not take anytime to absorb to where there was no indication I had even had any cream on . I applied this everyday at least three times a day on the areas that were dry & honestly by the third day the skin was back looking & feeling like normal. I would definitely purchase this again it solved any issues I was having fast & it was a nice texture and had no smell at all not when I applied it nor a lingering smell like some creams /lotions have .I don’t have extremely sensitive skin but i am very picky & skeptical about any products I put on my skin but I felt confident this was safe & it was I had no problem & would say If you need a solution for dry or damaged even skin this would be a great purchase it is loaded with ingredients that provide nourishment & even help calm irritated or problematic skin lastly the price point is good too not only for the amount of cream you receive in this container but I would say for the ingredients used to make this product it is filled with all the best moisturizers for you even if you deal with any kind of skin sensitivity it’s no problem it is filled with sensitive skin friendly ingredients that you want & need in a cream…..

I have extra dry and overly sensitive skin the product WORKS! Was very disappointed in the shipment. There was nothing to support the jars. I lost 1/3 of the one jar it spilled and it was a mess. The one jar lid was broke and the rim of lid was in pieces , took 1/2 roll of paper towels to clean it up

The texture is very creamy and moist…I would suggest this to use for winter season as it is little sticky yo be used in summer…overall value for money….I bought this for my son as his skin is very sensitive and dry…..this moisturizer helped me a lottttttt to get rid of his allergic skin….
