Dangerous
I was just needing a storage building for the mower and stuff to get it out of the garage and give me a little room. I made the mistake of not reading the reviews prior to purchase and once it arrives its a pain in the rear to return so I decided to live with it. First I should say I am an engineer and have design built hospitals for 3 decades and very mechanical minded. The metal supports are so thin they can not even hold up to tighten with a screw driver. No washers included, the metal stakes supplied are about1/16 ” and 4 inches long like you find on Christmas inflatables. The way this came it would not survive even a modest breeze. I challenged myself to make this work no matter how much it costs.I started by purchasing (4) 4×4 treated posts and screwed the base supports to the posts. This added a little weight and gave the canopy a better support. I then purchased (12) 16 inch long auger stakes and screwed them into the ground. Then I purchased (12) ratchet straps and connected half to lower railing and half to up roof supports and then down to the auger stakes and tighten firm but not to strong the metal is so weak it will bend. I then added washers to all of the bolts to keep the bolt head and the nut from pulling through the weak metal supports. I had a couple of the supplied ball bungee cords break during install so I ordered 30 heavy duty ball bungee cords that I will use to secure the front and back of the tent to the frame. I may ended up adding a few more grommets but I hate to chance make the material weaker. Last problem is the cover is probably 2-3 inches to short and you have to stretch beyond what you would ever want too. This too will damage the tensile strength of the canopy so beware of that. All together I think I spent about $225 to fix my $240 canopy but I still doubt it will survive very long.Be Safe and remember if this things goes flying across your yard and hits something or someone you can be liable.

Construction seems sturdy. Heavy duty ‘canvas’. You definitely should have two people for the assembly though, I did manage most of it on my own. Assembly instructions leave a lot to be desired. They are very simplistic and leave out a lot of details. You are left trying to figure out some of the steps and parts on your own.

Assembly Instructions/Durability
Well, directions were none existent. Yes, they gave a book with sketchy looking pictures but no real instructions. We miss assembled a few things along the way that we had to correct and still donât know how to attach ratchet straps. Over-all it may not last long in the elements but we will see. The metal hold downs stakes are useless. We used our own to assure it stays in place. The cover on the top holds water. It would have been nice if the top braces would have been curved to help shed water.

Waste of time and money – Not user friendly
Purchased this for my older parents that needed vehicle storage. They really struggled with getting it put together then when they finally got the tarp unit on, it doesn’t fit. 18 inch gap on both sides so thought they installed sideways and rotated, that was then 24 inches too long on both sides and didn’t cover the full length of the frame. Also had tears and holes in it so duct taped those but didn’t matter. Company sent a whole 2nd unit and same thing, cover doesn’t fit so ended up getting a refund, which we appreciated, but they were then left without storage for the vehicle.
