I like the ingredients in this supplement. After 50 years I am growing my beard but it is coming in very thin. So, I am going to experiment with this supplement and would like to get good resultsPlease read below as far as my reasoning for trying alternative solutions. Always check with your primary care physician.As, I age I feel more aches and pains that I hope this will alleviate or soften the effects of growing old. I also take prescription, traditional, prescribed medicine. I want to try some of these natural and other nontraditional methods. I was advised by the doctor not to mix the two. However, my plan is to give natural products a try. My method is to take tradition medicines on a twelve-hour basis. Then take natural medicine on the in-between 6 hours basis. I will need to get up during the night to take the natural medicines but I am awake periodically during the night.These natural medicines are mostly unregulated. So, I look for supplements and vitamins that are GMP (General Manufacturing Procedure) accredited. I also check for third party testing. Solid multivitamin w/2 proprietary blends of herbs and amino acids to support hair growth
This is a solid multivitamin with a proprietary blend of herbs for hair growth, as well as a separate proprietary blend of amino acids. The label boasts 39 ingredients +biotin (so, 40) to support and nourish hair growth “from the inside out.” The label is clear about the amounts of the vitamins and minerals contained in this supplement. For the proprietary blends, it lists the ingredients and an overall mg amount, without divulging the amount of each item. If you take multiple supplements that also have proprietary blends including some of these ingredients, as I do, my concern is that I could be getting too much of certain herbs without realizing it. I really wish manufactures would specify how much of each herb is in a supplement, as herbs interact with other herbs and medications, and can affect one’s health conditions as much as some synthetic mediations can. This makes me look a bit more carefully at my supplements to cut back on those with overlapping ingredients in their proprietary blends.Apart from my concerns about proprietary blends and not knowing specifically how much of each ingredient is present, this does seem like a well balanced multivitamin with ingredients to support skin, nails, and hair. I presume this should support ALL hair growth, not just beards! It will take some time to find out just how well hair quality and growth is improved, so I’ll have to update this later with results.
