This curling iron is deceivingly small, because it is big with features! The size is perfect for traveling and to use in my small bathroom since i don’t have much counter space to work with. There are just enough heat settings (3) and it does heat up fast. There is a spot to put your fingers on at the end to avoid burning while moving it around, and when you’re done and have second thoughts if it was shut off, it does have a function to turn off automatically as well.

This is a small version of a curling iron that is perfect to take with you. It is lightweight and simple to operate. I like it, it did a good job on my hair. If you want a head full of curls, then I suggest using a larger curling iron… but many times I just want to get a few curls around my face or some waviness to give my hair some style. This works very well for that. For reference my hair is a little past my shoulders, straight and fine/medium texture.This iron comes in a compact box and includes a small pouch to keep it in and 2 black clips. This has only 3 settings but that’s enough for me. It gets hot quickly and did a decent job of giving me some curls. But remember the barrel is quite short. I never used to wear a glove but after having a few burns, I now try to wear a glove with most hair tools. This doesn’t come with any but they cheap & easy to obtain. The reason to wear a glove with this is that the cool end tip is very short. This has a swivel cord and shuts off automatically if left on.If you need a travel curling iron or just want something simple to use at home just to get a few curls, this is a good one to try.

Got this for on cruises and it is wonderful! The small area it takes up is great for packing, and I really appreciate the auto-shutoff feature for safety. As some have mentioned, you do need to be mindful of where you touch it/place your fingers during use. I would not do an entire thick head of hair with this (I do NOT have that kind of patience!) but for adding some extra texture and curls it was a wonder.
