So this is literally the only time I was surprised in a great way I didn’t read everything on a amazon page… I thought these only had a compass on them but had a nice surprise with the whistle and ferro rod. Already tried ferro rod, works well. Could not be happier and 2000 percent recommend for the price.

Mostly fine, fails only in ways you probably already expect.
It’s cheap plastic, with a mediocre compass, a kind-of-OK whistle, and a stick of pyrophoric alloy on one hand and a really sad looking metal scraper on the other. You can technically use it to make sparks. I haven’t gotten it to light a fire yet, but I haven’t yet used ‘proper’ bone-dry highly filamentous/fibrous tinder. The whistle is pretty sad, but if you hold it just right – horizontal, lips just touching the intake – you can get a kind-of-OK whistle sound out of it.I’d use this as a friendship bracelet clasp, but if you’re building a bug-out kit, it’s insufficient for any of the things it’s trying to do. But for bracelets? Awesome. It’ll at least make you think “Man, I’m glad I have an actual map and compass, and firestarters, and a real whistle and mirror in my kit! Because if I had to use this thing I’d be f’d!”

More novelty than anything. Great for paracord projects, whistle works great, firestarter is a bit small but in survival mode its probably better than nothing. the compasses are not great, only 3 matched up with an actual compass & 2 were a little off, the others were worthless

Buckles are great ,I used one for my watch , Iâm 65 with heart and on oxygen 24/7 and flying home after going to Cleveland Clinic for treatment , at Cleveland Hoptin airport the TSA wouldnât let me thru the checkpoint with the metal stricker in this buckle , save yourself a hassle

I have one of these one size smaller but the compass was lost. So bought a of these slightly larger in size. Does what it needs to do I have lit fires with them. The compass is more for the novelty. Pretty pricey but it is smaller than most with Pharaoh rods built in

An sich eine gute Sache, eine Notfallpfeife, ein Feuerstarter ein kleiner Kompass und das auch noch als Verschluss für eine Paracord Armband.3 Kompasse zeigen nicht so wirklich nach Norden, das könnte aber daran liegen, dass die Feuerstarter etwas magnetisch aufgeladen sind und den Kompass stören.Wenn man die Verschlüsse öffnet gehen sie.Am besten mit einem Entmagnetisierer mal drüber gehen und zu schauen.Ãhnliches Ergebnis habe ich bei einem fertigem Armband (von einem anderen Hersteller) da ist ein kleines Messer mit drin, sobald ich den Verschluss öffne und das Messer weg ist, geht der Kompass.Also etwas Nacharbeit ist notwendig, ansonsten gute Gadgets.Tests wurden mit einem groÃen Ãlgelagerten Kompass durchgeführt, um einen Vergleich zu bekommen
