This book is organized so well, broken up by seasons and it makes everything so easy to find. Yoga, meditations, inspiring quotes, affirmations, song playlists, smoothie recipes, gemstones, essential oils, moon practices. Yes, it has it all and QR codes that load right to videoes that correspond to the page you’re on. Best yoga book I’ve ever read!

I have been following Kassandra on YouTube for some time now and have done a lunar course with her that I absolutely loved. This book is like an extension of that and more. First, the photographs are beautiful. Natural settings and simple. They instill relaxation. The concept is wonderful – go into yourself and no competition. This is why I do yoga at home and not at a studio.
The book is divided into seasons and follows the lunar calendar. For each season you get a Morning Practice, and Evening Meditation, Breathing Exercises, Affirmations, a “Listicle” – or list of resources including a music playlist, books to read, crystals, essential oils and a smoothie recipe, then yoga sequences for each season (I believe 4 for each season)
But here’s the amazing part – there’s a barcode you can scan that gives you videos of this stuff!! So you can follow along with the photos or the videos. There are 22 videos and 4 audio meditations.
Let me tell you, this book gives you the most bang for the buck!! No joke.
I am not paid to say this and I bought the book – got it on the Summer Solstice because I preordered.
I highly encourage you to check it out whether you are brand-spanking new to yoga or a seasoned yogi, it will not disappoint!! Thank you Kassandra for this book, it is amazing!!

Great well done yoga book!
This is a very nice book, well thought out and you can tell it took a lot of time. I got it for my wife. Sheâs been involved in yoga for a long time and when Covid hit we found ourselves both working at home and she introduced me to yoga during day breaks. Our âinstructorâ from the very beginning was Kassandra having found her on YouTube. We are avid followers and she has encouraged us to keep going. When the book arrived I started going through it but it was quickly taken away! It is very well written with good pictures and written information about yoga. This would make a great coffee table book, general all purpose reading, a gift for someone thinking about getting into yoga, and for someone already into yoga. My wife really liked it. Five stars!

Kassandra has put together a beautiful and practical book that is suitable for all levels of practice. The photos are gorgeous and the practices are very easy to follow. It’s organized by seasons and provides playlists, prop suggestions, and even some delicious looking smoothie recipes to complement your practice. This thoughtfully designed book is lovely to look at and you can tell it was put together with love and care.

I’m a huge fan of the Yoga With Kassandra YouTube channel which is why I bought this. You definitely don’t have to be a YouTube subscriber to appreciate this book though! This book has something for everyone. Meditations, yoga sequences, playlists, breathing techniques, reading recommendations, and much more. I love leafing through this throughout the year to get inspiration. Great for personal use, and I’ve also purchased as a gift.

I LOVE the concept of adapting yoga practice to the seasons and moon cycles and Kassandra exceeded my expectations with this book! Beautiful photography, easy-to-follow descriptions, lots of affirmations and additional things to help enhance your practice that you may not get from doing a follow-along practice on Youtube. A major bonus is the QR codes linked to videos if you’d rather follow along. It’s nice to have some yoga practices and meditations that aren’t interrupted with ads at the end, like you get with YouTube. I definitely recommend buying it if you are thinking about it. I wish I would have sooner!

I love Kassandra’s videos – My mom discovered her on YouTube and Kassandra’s 15 minute morning/evening videos practically got me through the lockdown year. I bought this book after thinking about it for a long time – would they be any different or better than the videos?
The answer is yes. Glad I picked it up
Because the book is organized in such a way that even if you do a 10 minute practice – you are doing it by counting your breath. Without the teacher’s voice, you hear your own voice and pay close attention to your body in the pose, as you try to focus on your breath. This makes the practice meditative.
No matter how good youtube yoga is, they still direct our focus outward rather than inward. This book returns the practice inward.
I also love that the book, though organized by seasons, also makes clear what effect each practice will have – like for the shoulders, hips, hamstring, etc – as well as chakra linkages/ emotional links if any. So you can choose your practice depending on your physical, emotional or spiritual requirements of the day.
I am also learning each pose more in depth. I started off only wanting to do the very short morning sequences. That was already great. About two months into using this book – I wake up excited to do a 30 minute sequence – i put on some ambient music, light a candle and go inside 🙂
The book is beginner friendly, but it is always recommended to follow Kassandra’s beginner videos if you have never ever practiced Yoga before. Wonderful book, 100% recommend
