My 2nd grade students love the colors & enjoy the challenge of learning the rhythm it takes to successfully jump in a technology-dominated childhood. Itâs a good weight for turning-not too heavy & easily turned. Not 5 stars in sturdiness bc after the kids tried making zip lines with it, played tug-of-war with it, etc., it has become a bit frayed at one end. Additionally, a knot was left in the rope a few days before I realized I should unknot it bc the outer-covering was becoming frayed as it hit the ground every time the rope was turned. I DO RECOMMEND these jump ropes; however, if you ensure theyâre used properly & remove knots, theyâll certainly last longer.

Fun colored jump rope. Glad I looked at reviews saying to choose a rope without handles–it’s easy to turn or tie around a pole. Got mixed-age kids used to jumping by holding it still and doing a reverse limbo game. It’s really lightweight, which might be good for kids turning it, and certainly makes it more portable, but it feels a little weird since I’m used to the weighted plastic bead rope type from PE at school.
