High value; hugely functional
I spent days trying to find an affordable, lightweight tent for backpacking. Unless you shell out $300+ you’re not going to find anything. That is, unless you’re fortunate enough to stumble onto this little bad boy. This thing is high value. As the picture shows, it’ll comfortably fit two. I actually did two trips with myself and two kids (that’s three). We had to lay sideways, but it wasn’t too bad. The design is simply outstanding: great stitching, quality material, well thought-out zippers. The pegs are a nice, lightweight aluminum. It takes 5 or 6 minutes to setup and is lightweight enough to take backpacking. We did a 10-miler with this very comfortably. What’s the catch? There really isn’t one. Basically, it just doesn’t have a frame. It uses a long paracord-type string that you can either (1) connect to two trees either side of the tent with a truckers hitch knot (kind of like setting up a hammock), or (2) you just place your hiking poles or a sturdy stick you find laying on the ground on either entrance to the tent. When you stabilize the sticks by pegging down your guide rope, this thing is as sturdy as any $300-500 REI special. Because it’s so simple, there’s less that can break. I’m thinking of switching out all my tents for two or three of these. If you’re backpacking or just tent camping at a campsite, this will serve you very very well.

Lightweight and reliable!
Used this tent on a backpacking trip in Havasupai. Bought it last minute to shave off some weight from my pack. This was 2-3 lbs lighted than the tent we had, which in backpacking terms really means a lot on a long hike. Worked great, was easy to set up, and so affordable. Other campers were shocked we got it from Amazon as it looked so nice and worked well. It rained a little on our trip and the tent did not get wet! We were waiting for the water to seep through but it never really did. Seems to be moderately water resistant which was great. Not sure how it would fare in a downpour but we don’t plan on using it for extreme weather conditions anyways. Definitely get this tent!

Simple to set up and lightweight
Tent in the bag weighs 3.2 lbs including the stakes. This is a very simple tent to set up if you know a bowline knot and how to use a guy-line tensioner. This is a true two person tent. Lots of space but still lightweight Love that it has zipper doors and screens on both ends. This tent appears to be very well built as well. The one con I found was there are no guy-out anchors on either of the sidewalls. This will result in flapping in windy conditions. I seam sealed mine for added protection. But, all things considered, this is a great trekking pole tent. Lightweight, simple to set up and value for the price.

The Only Review I’ve Ever Left
I was so impressed by this tent I decided to leave a product review for the first time in my 10+ years of buying off amazon. My wife and I backpacked up a mountain and this tent held up through a wind storm at over 9000 feet in an open meadow. On top of that it’s extremely light weight and the fact that it uses trekking poles allows us to spare even more weight and room in the packs. It was a quick and easy setup and breakdown. It rolls right up and fits back in the bag without any struggle. The inside was spacious enough for my wife and I, plus all our stuff, to fit comfortably.I really can’t believe how great this thing is for being the literal cheapest 2 person tent on the market. There are only 2 cons I found:1) It was very loud. We had to prop our shoes up on the door flies to keep them from rustling around all night. However, it should be considered that we were in some pretty extreme winds in an open area.2) Lots of condensation build up in the morning. Not a huge deal and to be expected with any single wall tent when the temps outside drop. We turned it inside out and laid it in the sun to dry when we got home. By no means a deal-breaker but just something to consider if you’re camping in the cold.Overall the cons are nothing compared to the pros, I remain VERY impressed with this tent.

Not Waterproof!
I wanted to love this tent, and am very disappointed it didn’t work out for me. I set it up to test it out and had a continuous light rain for about an hour. Unfortunately, there were small puddles of water in 3 of the 4 corners inside the tent, and below where the internal hanging pocket is attached to the interior of the tent. On the plus side, the tent is long (I’m 6′ 3″ and had plenty of extra space so that my head/feet were not hitting the ends of the tent. It is very light weight and easy to set up with 2 hiking poles. And it was plenty wide enough to fit my sleeping pad/sleeping bag and still have room next to me for my backpack. If it was actually waterproof, I would love the tent and would have ordered more for my kids.

Itâs ok
I sprayed it with waterproofing before trying it out. It was fine but I did wake up with some water along the seams of the floor. Came with a hole so I patched it right away. Easy to set up. Held up to some incredible winds coming off the lake during a mountain storm. Itâs long but feels narrow especially since the sides do sag in. All in all it worked for me and my dog and was an inexpensive, lightweight option when I didnât want to bring a bigger tent and hammock wasnât an option.

Perfect size and utility
Rained the first night and no leak. Loops at strong for the stakes and ropes. Tied to two trees and was a really quick set up and break down. 5 mins each. Going to have my 8yr old do it solo next thatâs why I wanted this one. Also plenty of space for both of us with height enough to sit upright on low sides of the tent

Awesome 1 to 2 person ultralight/ bushcraft tent!
This will be my go to tent for 2023. It can easily fit 2 people and gear without being huge. The vestibules at bothe ends, and the ability to enter the tent from both ends is a game changer. I will be experimenting with setting up a wood stove at one end with the tent door open. The tent is super light weight, great design, really easy setup, comes with guy ropes, and stakes. For the price, I really cant find anything better. Claims to be waterproof, we will see. The tent is seam-sealed and very durable feeling. I cant wait o use this thing bikepacking and hiking!

My wife and I took it hiking on a coastal trail. It rained throughout the night and all night the “composite waterproof tape” leaked drastically, soaking everything. The light hook acted as a perfect drain to leak directly on to our faces. We tried for hours to ensure all was tight, set up nicely, under a tree but still could not escape the rain which was not a downpour but a constant drizzle all night. One of the worst nights I have had camping in YEARS. I would give it 1 star but I bumped it up to 2 stars only because it was quick and simple to setup. Save your money, invest in something that is a bit more expensive and will keep you protected from the elements.

Worked well for me in the dry climate of Arizona in November.
