Got these when there was a great deal, $40 for a pair of 35 lb plates. They are well made and we love using them for deadlifts . I will say as others mentioned, they do smell at first but two days in the garage and the odor is gone. Highly recommend for those building their garage gym on a budget.

You will be hard pressed to find a better value for bumper plates anywhere after shipping.These plates come in at under $1 per pound shipped to your door and get as low as 60 cents per pound when on sale.As many have mentioned, the plates do smell, but that is to be expected of any rubber product. A day outside to off gas and then wash with some dish detergent did the trick for me. They aren’t odorless, but they don’t fill the room with the smell of burnt cigarettes anymore.Weight was also pretty accurate, with them coming in at 35.4 and 35.6 pounds. Roughly in the 1% variance range.If you ever see the 35 pound pair for going for 38 bucks, they are truly a steal.I wouldn’t bother with the sets with the barbell. It isn’t saving you anything compared to buying the bar separately, so you’re better off shopping for your barbell of choice.

Cant find a better deal for bumper plates. The 45âs and 35âs seem very sturdyâ¦15âs seem ok so far. Not much bounce if any when the bar is loadedâ¦that doesnât matter to me either way.The 10âs are as good as paper weights. Didnât fit on my olympic bar and are slightly bent. No matterâ¦even without them its still a good deal!

Perfectly adequate weights
They are perfectly adequate for qhat I meed. The only reason I did not give a 5 star…they smell horrible of whatever materials they are made of. The off gassing is very strong. Had to set them outside for a week. I think I will also try washing them too.

Love these weights
They are perfect. Great size, perfect bumper weights. They do have a smell when you get them. People say they smell like cigarette smoke. That’s because of the melting and molding process. It makes them smells bad. Just air them out for 24 – 48hrs. They’ll be right as rain and ready to use.

Garage gym needed some bumper plates so that my workous didn’t want up the rest of the family. So glad I found these because they were affordable and still high quality. I’ve put them through a ton of workouts and they are holding up nicely. Plan to continue purchasing, as I get stronger and need more weights!

These are so awesome! I think there a great price. I use them for crossfit style work outs, but I havenât dropped them on the floor so I canât comment of durability. I always lower my weights controlled. I am super happy with them. No smell and no mess!

What I like about these weights is that if they’re shipped in pairs they weigh exactly the same. (I checked.) If they some one in a box they have a little weight certification sticker on them. All this is to ensure you have the same weight on both sides of the barbell.What I don’t like about them is that they stink pretty badly at first. I washed them all down immediately but it still took awhile for the stink to clear. What concerns me is that they still feel like there’s some residual chemical on them and I have no idea what it is. I do know that PFAS chemicals are used as a mold release for plastic products like the coating on these weights. I’ve taken to wearing latex gloves every time I swap weights on my barbells. Signature Fitness would do themselves and the whole world a favor by stopping the use of PFAS and certifying their products are completely PFAS-free. Or at least tell us how to completely remove any remaining PFAS and other residual chemicals on the surface. Until then I will continue using gloves to avoid contact with them.

After one week of use, the rubber near the hub is tearing up I believe that it was scratching with the barbell clamps after dropping the bar on the floor during workout, Iâve been using so many brand never have this problem. You get what you paid for.
