fun manipulatives for supervised interactions
I like the vivid images to introduce the consonant blends. Each card is distinct in color and shape to support the learner noticing and remember the difference between word groups. These wont hold up with heavy usage such as unsupervised in a classroom. If theses were made with thicker cardstock they could be. A clear bag would be more helpful to identify contents. I like these a lot for teaching. Satisfied.

Cute and educational; not sturdy enough
The idea behind these spinning cards is good–kids need to recognize the blends and digraphs and learn to pronounce them. All of the illustrations are clear, cheery, and well done. We like the colorful animal cards, even though they do not directly relate to the phonics sounds they call attention to. The choices of words on the spinning discs are good and relevant to kids.We do not see these spinning cards as sturdy enough for kids to use independently. They would be great to use with a “teacher” helping them, either one-to-one or in a small group situation. We think these will make a fun quiet-time activity to do together. It was a good thought to include a drawstring storage bag, but that needed to be a little larger to hold all the cards.Overall–great idea for something to do together not just turn your small children “loose” with.
