Not at all polarized. A simple test with a computer screen shows that. Compared them with my older lenses that I know for sure are polarized, and they have polarized written on the temple arms. These don’t have polarized written anywhere on the frame.Both pieces came slightly dirty with smudges. I guess someone may have returned them for the same reason I’m returning them.These are darker than average, so somewhat better in bright sun.

I like them Apended: Warning-not Polorized
So, these glasses seem to be good. The only thing on don’t really care for is the holes all around the glass, right next to the frame. I’m not sure why they are there. I think the look great, on me. Unfortunately, my daughter says they look bad on me and also on her. So, I won’t have to worry about her wearing them and me wondering where my sunglasses went, so that’s a blessing in disguise. I also see a lot of comments about how these are not polarized. That’s one of the big selling features of these glasses, so if it isn’t true I’d think a nasty lawsuit might occur. I mean I know that there’s a lot of false advertising out there, but it seems like more trouble than it’s worth to say sunglasses are polarized and not. It would be easier to just leave it off and not mention it. So, until I hear differently, and not through comments, that these are not really polarized then I’ll keep thinking they are. I’m looking for proof other than when I look at them they look different that polarized glasses….. Sorry, but that seems like a very bad scientific method and not a good path for a proper proof. Anyway, I like them and am giving them 5 stars. (fix the holes).So, I had to revoke my 5 stars and move it down to 2. These are not Polarized. I actually got a hold of an actual tester and sure enough, nothing, no polarization. So, be aware if you buy these.
