A little smaller than I thought, but still very happy.
This is definitely a great item for the stadium or just sitting on the porch. It’s warm but not sweat inducing and it does keep the bite of the wind off. I bought one for myself and my husband for when he’s standing at kettles for the Salvation Army. It will protect his legs very well.

The size is great, but warmth lacking
I like the idea of this for a sports outing for rain resistance and wind protection. It also seems feasible for park outings. However, it is so thin, it would never be something I would cuddle under in severely cold weather to watch a football game with. The quality and durability is there, but there isnât enough padded or quilted insulation for my taste.

It’s Big And A Water Repellent Blanket!
This is nice, and would definitely make a great gift for parents who sit in sports stands. It really is big, it wrapped all the way around me and has two velcro tabs along the edges and it does make a perfect poncho! Theres also a zipper compartment right up front that you could slip your phone and keys into. It’s not bunny rabbit soft on the inside, but more like a lined jacket. Although it’s a large size, it’s not super thick, or it would be impossible to carry this size of wrap around. Since it’s waterproof on one side, it’s very warm wrapped around me since air doesn’t get through it. This would be great for football games on foggy or misty nights where the moisture chills you to the bone, and great for climates that just feel damp. You could wrap yourself plus your camp chair around the fire! I think it would also cover two people sitting together at a sports game or like a music festival that’s gonna go into the night. The strap on the stuff sack means you can attach it to your beach chair or put over your arm if doing a festival or open stands on a sports field. EASY to have in your trunk or truck! I’m going to use this as a top cover over my sleeping bag so the moisture in my tent on cold nights doesn’t seep into my top blankets. More and more I’ll make a bed with blankets instead of sleeping in a bag, and this will be a fantastic top layer. Would be ESPECIALLY good when sleeping outdoors under NO shelter, which I’ve done a few times as well. Comes with a water repellent stuff sack (with carry strap) so it’s easy to throw it into camp gear, and the blanket has a loop on one corner for hanging to air out during the day. It’s machine washable (cold) and I’d experiment with how to dry it â maybe a few minutes tumbled on low heat and then hang to dry. For the outdoors people in your life, this would make a solid gift. For you, yes!
