Picture print not great otherwise kid loves it
Picture print quality on majority of the book isn’t great, looks unfocused so what other reviews are mentioning about the picture quality is true. Otherwise our son loves it and doesn’t bother him as much as it bothers me hahahhaha since the whole point is the reading and phonics part of it all for the kids. Otherwise over all it’s still a book the kids will love.

Good for early readers; fuzzy graphics
This is good for early readers. My son is rising into 2nd grade, and the reading is too easy for him, but he loves Pokemon, so it’s high interest for him. The reading is much better for a beginner- the words and sentences are simple and large. There are oddly bolder words- maybe to teach inflection? Usually challenging vocabulary is bonded, so this is a bit of a distraction. The reading activities are nice to do with early readers and help reinforce the skills. I put packing tape on those pages to laminate and do with dry erase marker, so we can continue to practice. A sheet protector would work, too! (Tip from a teacher, Lol)The graphics were a disappointment, the lines are fuzzy, like smaller images were zoomed in. The colors are also muted. Usually Pokemon is more vibrant. This was a disappointment, and my son even pointed out the pictures were a little “weird.”Overall, I’m keeping this because it’s high interest and motivates him to read, but this wouldn’t be my first choice if I were browsing before buying.
