I couldn’t wait to get this book, and now that I’ve read it cover-to-cover, I can’t wait to share it! I started my journey with PHD Weight Loss and Nutrition April 2021, just a couple months after getting COVID. I had an extra 20 pounds I couldn’t shed, and the “brain fog” from COVID was seriously affecting my ability to function after 3:00 in the afternoon. Little did I know, my body was full of inflammation. As someone who has done this program, I would absolutely recommend it. On a scale of 1-10, this program is a 30! What makes this book so great, is for those of you who are just too intimidated or scared to start, Dr. Ashley outlines the program for you in this book. I tell people all the time this is a comprehensive plan, Dr. Ashley does an amazing job in this book explaining why and how this is so much more than food. My advice, get the book, read it, and let the reality sink in. Then, call the office and make an appointment for your consultation. (Look on page 102 for some savings!). It is a call you will never regret.

Book is nothing more than an advertisement!
The book does not contain any details other than to point you toward the place to get on the the program that you pay for. I would like to return the book but unless you live close to a UPS Store (not a Drop Off Location) it will cost more to return this book than it cost to start with. Not very happy with either the book or with Amazon’s new return policy.

I am really confused by the negative reviews. Anyone who does any research on the PHD diet should know that PHD Weight Loss does customized plans around each person’s unique bodies. The focus is on optimization of your body and metabolism. In this book, Dr. Ashley helps break down the philosophies behind the weight loss plan. You can figure out the formula of the program from the book but ultimately the reason I was able to drop the 20 lbs. of weight that I hadn’t been able to with other diet was the combination of the diet and the special coaching and strategy that the program employs. This book is extremely helpful for anyone looking to learn more about PHD Weight Loss and wanting to try to implement some of the methods for a healthier life and weight loss.
