Most puzzles that are less than 100 pieces are geared for children and very childlike in their pictures and appearance. Thick enough for elderly hands
These puzzles are okay for early stages of dementia but are too complex for later stages. I was excited to see that the back of the first puzzle we worked had six blocks of color as this was much easier for my FIL to figure out. It was disappointing that the backs of the other puzzles all used the same color blocking. I would have given these a 5 star rating if the back of the puzzles had each had different colored shapes on the back. That would have extended their use in getting interaction with my darling FIL.

I bought these for my mom with Alzheimerâs and she loves them. She was getting board but we found the smaller piece puzzles with 500 plus pieces were far to difficult for her anymore. Iâve now bought her two six packs of these and she loves them and they keep her busy. They are bigger pieces, and they have I believe only 36 pieces. So itâs made her and myself very happy. We will be buying more.

Pros:I got this puzzle for my older friend who has dementia and trouble using his hands. The pieces are large and thick enough that he can handle them easily, and each puzzle is only ~36pieces so he doesn’t get too frustrated. Each picture also has very vibrant coloring which is beautiful.Each puzzle is already put together in the box so you will have to disassemble them and place the pieces in the 6 bags provided.Cons (nothing major imo):I’m not sure if this is intentional or not but some parts of the artwork dont make much sense to me… people in the picture don’t really look like people, butterflies look wonky, parts of something get twisted to blend with other things, etc. It almost reminds me of A.I. art in that you can tell what it’s supposed to be but it looks off. Not a big deal or us though bc everything else is great.Also, bc the puzzles are already put together in the box, if you want to disassemble them and put them in the provided baggies, they will no longer fit into the box provided.Overall, i would definitely recommend this. It really is a quality puzzle even if the pictures are slightly wonky.

Además de que considero que el precio está genial para la cantidad de rompecabezas que trae.En cuanto al tamaño y número de piezas de los rompecabezas, creo que son óptimos para el propósito que buscaba, el cuál era una actividad para un adulto mayor.Las imágenes son bastante nÃtidas y bonitas.Lo compré para mi abuelita que tiene 87 años, pero a mà tia de 50 años le encantó. Por lo que creo que es adecuado y entretenido para personas de para cualquier edad.En conclusión, recomiendo el producto.

My 97 year old Mom recently had a hip replacement surgery from a fall at home. She has become quite forgetful and her ability to concentrate has minimized even more since the fall. I bought these Biarek 6 pack puzzle set with 36 pieces each puzzle. I showed my Mom how to do them and she enjoyed putting them together for the first time. With a tiny bit of help, she managed to put her first puzzle together in a reasonable amount of time and that was without looking at the picture. I didn’t see the stack of pictures of each puzzle till much later as they were at the bottom of the box. The colour coded back side of the puzzle pieces do help but I think if they were numbered, it would help even more. The pieces are large and thick enough to hold with shaky hands. The vibrant colours make it more realistic and interesting to put together. I liked that each puzzle comes completed in two sections and a plastic zipper bag for each puzzle in case you needed to put them together later. I labelled each zipper bag with the corresponding picture and put the picture into the bags separately. This way, I would know which bag has which puzzle and the pieces will not get mixed up. I found it easier to keep the puzzles completed into two sections, just like the way they came. If the pieces are taken apart and put in the zipper bags, they will not fit into the same box. I enjoyed making the puzzles and my Mom was quite excited to do them. It certainly made her feel useful and having an end goal was an achievement for her. These are great puzzles and I will look into buying some more with different designs to keep her entertained and engaged. Thank you for making such a great product at a reasonable price.
