A bit pricey vs. competitors, but offers extra features
I believe this is the third brand of “sonic-like” toothbrushes I’ve tried. In my experience, they all work about equally well for cleaning teeth and vary mainly on noise level and durability. I am still using the first brand, which I’ve had now for about 3 years. However, it came as a 2-pack and the second unit stopped working after about 60 days. The second brand, ordered about a year later, shared the same fate. One is still working well while the other died after a couple of months. Both of those still working last about 90 days on a charge and seem to work at full power until they stop.It remains to be seen how well this 7AM2M will hold up over time. Its main difference from others appears to be in its features such as an LED screen, 3 intensity modes, 5 function modes, and the inclusion of more replacement heads. Honestly, I don’t know that I have ever used my original brush other than on the full speed ‘clean’ mode, so I can’t speak to the value of these features.

Quality toothbrush
I bought four of these for my wife, myself and our 9 yr old twins. I had, for last 20 years, a $180 Oral B and I like this one better. We all like them and think they do a great job, plus they came with 8 replacement brushes. My only criticism is the mode button placement as during brushing I inadvertently change the mode and itâs a little annoying. Also, Iâm on week 3 and the battery charge is still solid and powerful. We definitely recommend

3 power levels let you find the power of your choice. It uses the industry standard 30 second and 2 min total intervals. Good battery duration – I generally charge once a week and even then it still has power in reserve – I just chose once a week for convenience of charging on a particular day. Cleans my teeth well and with all the heads I feel this is a great deal! I would definitely order this unit again provided it holds up a reasonable amount of time.

Good overall choice. Not my favorite.
This is one in a long line of Sonicare “like” toothbrushes. Overall it is a good brush and I would certainly use it, but there is alot of competition out there, so I’m rating based on othe brushes I’ve used.It has multiple cleaning modes. I power cycles every 30 seconds to help you keep time, and shuts off after 2 or 3 minutes (I lost count), but pretty much all toothbrushes I’ve tried were similar. It requires USB charging, but can stay charged for up to 90 days (going from the product description), which I guess eliminating the need for a charging stand. It stands up well on its own and comes with a generous supply of brush heads.On the plus side (compared to others):- The LCD/LED screen is neat, and makes it easy to select the mode- The vibration seems stronger to me on its highest setting than some brushes in its class. (Note that bristle stiffness can make this a very subjective experience.)- The included 8 brush heads are individually wrappedOn the minus side (compared to my favorites):- Requires USB with no charge stand, so must be set on its side when charging- No travel case is included- Comes with a very cheap stand to double sticky tape it to a mirror (I’m assuming), which I would never use- Brush heads are not compatible with my Sonicare, and Sonicare “compatble” brush heads will not work with this toothbrush, bringing into question how difficult it might be to get replacement heads.There are alot of choices out there. If nothing on the minus side concerns you greatly, I will say that I really like the feel of this brush, and would have no reservations using it.
