    Great Canopy Under Proper Use!
I’ve had this canopy for three years now, but have only used it once or twice. The forecast was predicting some hot, sunny days for a week. So I decided to start getting my money’s worth out of the purchase. I set it up on my back paver patio. I had read reviews where people claimed to have left their canopy up for weeks or months without issue. So I decided I’d leave it up for at least a few days.During the day of the attached video, I checked the weather app to make sure there weren’t any unexpected changes in the weather. Still no mention of rain. All seemed fine during the bright, sunny morning and early afternoon. But later in the afternoon, I noticed some light rain. While I was surprised by the development, I decided it would be a nice opportunity to check the waterproofing of the canopy.I sat under the canopy and was quite satisfied by how it was handling the light rain. Even as the rain picked up, I felt at ease. But after a few minutes, some strong gusts of wind began coming through. I thought about taking the canopy down, but I felt the best immediate course of action was to stand beneath the center and hold the frame steady. It was showing clear signs of strain. The gusts became so steady and with increasing intensity that I continued feeling uncomfortable about letting go and trying to take the canopy down. My support was probably the only thing keeping my canopy from becoming a heap of mangled metal. I had been through that before. Fortunately, along with my 200 pounds holding in the center, I had sandbags on each corner along with two bungee tie downs on each corner. For about 20 minutes, which felt like an eternity, I held on and prayed until a brief calm allowed me to take down the canopy. After that brief calm, some heavier gusts came through that would have surely destroyed my canopy.Just hours before this ordeal, I had received two additional sidewalls that I had ordered to go along with the two I had purchased before. I had a full set up that I hoped to enjoy for the summer. What a shame it would have been to see it destroyed.Well, the next day I inspected the frame. I feared that I would find cracks in the plastic connectors or bends in the frame. To my surprise, all was in order. Thankfully, it was a lesson that didn’t have to come with a huge cost or loss.I think I will be a bit more selective about when to use the canopy. These sudden, violent and unforeseen storms are happening with more frequency. So I’ll likely reserve the canopy for gatherings and events. At least then, I’ll have assistance to quickly take the canopy down if needed. In the meantime, I’ll use my large umbrella for patio shade on a regular basis. In any case, this canopy took a beating and held its own. But no matter how well constructed these mobile canopies are, they can only withstand so much. If any element, me, the sandbags or the tie downs had been missing, it would have been game over. The canopy isn’t meant to withstand those types of winds anyway. So if you’re looking for a sturdy canopy to be used under reasonable conditions, this one is well worth it. It’s even cheaper now than when I bought mine. Hopefully, the quality is still the same.

    Best canopy ever!
These are easy to assemble, we watched how to do it on Utube. Best of all, they are sturdy. No problems with the wind at all! We bought a canopy from a local store last year and within a week it was on the ground broken.I use mine to work on my carnivorous plants all summer out of the sun and loved it so much we purchased a second one for our lounge chairs. This review is for the commercial canopy. Not the regular one, they are different. The canopy lasted 3 summers and 2 winters. It was outside the entire time in the weather. Sunshine, wind, rain (Washington), and snow. It finally gave up the ghost and the cover split. The frame is still strong. I have to say I am very impressed. I believe that if it was used and put away regularly, it would have last for a very long time! Love it!I am hoping to purchase a replacement commercial cover for the frame.Update: 12/2023I purchased a replacement canopy cover on November 3rd. I put it on the frame, it fit well. We had a rain and wind storm and it stayed in place fine, however, there’s a rip on the seam now and I am having constant pockets of rain on 3 sides that I have to empty out every time it rains. I live in Washington. I’m in the process of contacting the seller.

The best canopy I’ve ever used!
This is the third pop up canopy my family has purchased in the last 3 years due to others breaking, and it is by far the best! I researched the best pop up canopies of 2024 and this was the top choice overall. The frame is very sturdy and easy to set up, and the cover was easy to attach. Just be sure to put the extra pole for the top of the frame in before putting the cover on or else it will droop when you set it up. I love that you can choose from so many different colors and I will definitely purchase from this brand again, but hopefully I won’t need to!

Excellent Canopy, but beware the supplier “#1 Instant Shelter” is cutting corners.
First, I’ll start by saying this canopy is excellent. I don’t believe there is a better canopy on the market for the price. If you need something very lightweight and not very heavy duty, then look elsewhere. If you want something that will actually last, built on a true steel frame, get this canopy.I’ve done festivals, trade-shows, and outdoor markets of all kinds for the better part a year under this canopy, with an average use rate of three days per week. I often feel bad for many other canopy users, because their canopies limit them so severely. Your canopy is the bedrock of your setup, it supports your banners, your windwalls, your lights, and anything else you might need, and it does it all while resisting the elements. If you build your foundation on lightweight aluminum, then you haven’t accounted for all the other factors in addition to Murphy’s Law. I would advise everyone to get this canopy unless they are under a festival ordnance that requires another tent for uniformity purposes (very rare, but I’ve seen this happen, IMO this SHOULD be the tent required in those circumstances). This frame will withstand high winds with large banners and signed attached to it, each leg supports two proper stakes, and the wide base feet are ideal for use with weight bags.I have absolutely no trouble at all setting this up alone, and taking it down alone. I’ve done it probably close to 150 times. The trick is to place one corner where you want it, grab the opposite corner, lift, and stretch it into place. Once it is mostly expanded, press upward on the slider until it clicks into place, then click into place all the other corners. After that you simple lift each leg one at a time. I truly do not understand the people saying this is a difficult setup “even for two people.” It’s exceptionally easy for one person. Perhaps using more than one person unnecessarily complicates setup? In any case, when you take it down you do the same thing in reverse. First lower all four legs. Then unfasten the corner buttons. Grab one leg on any side, lift, and walk it toward the opposite leg. The entire tent will simply fold up. After that, bag the tent by swinging the bag behind your back, and applying it by sliding it over the top of your head onto the tent. This effectively guides the bag over the tent so that it can slide down onto the bag unhindered. The whole operation of take down or set up takes me easily less than three minutes moving at a normal pace.In addition, they do honor their manufacturer’s warranty. I work mostly in Florida near the gulf, and we get very high wind gusts from time to time that can’t be predicted. After six months of the harshest environment and repeated set ups and tear downs, the frame finally buckled slightly and could not fold up fully. This was a problem because it would not fit into the bag nor into our storage area for travel. They honored the one year warranty, refunded the cost, and sent a replacement. I almost felt bad because I can tell that every effort has been made for this design to be durable and affordable, and I don’t like to take advantage of warranties in those circumstances if I can avoid it. However they gave absolutely no fuss. Now, with that said, understand that there are two, seemingly identical carrying bags for this canopy. My original canopy came with an incredibly heavy duty bag that looked exactly like that displayed in the images in the listings. When I received my second canopy, the bag was a complete joke. It looked identical to the original in every way, but was probably 1/5 the thickness and very poorly manufactured. It fell apart within two weeks. I’m not exaggerating. The first bag lasted six months and was still in near perfect condition, the second lasted only two weeks. The moment I received the new bag I immediately knew it was inferior quality, but I didn’t realize just how bad it was until I had a chance to put it to use.So if you see reviews of some people enamored with the bag quality, and others complaining about how poor the exact same bag is, understand that it’s because there are two versions of the bag. Which one you receive appears to be 100% luck of the draw. I’ve been looking for a way to purchase the quality version but the Amazon listing for the bag only appears to suffer the same problem – the seller called “#1 Instant Shelter” randomly distributes one version or the other, and most customers have no idea this is taking place. Shame on them for not being more transparent in this regard.

This tent is great to set up. It’s the first one we’ve owned and find it to be sturdy and great quality. The keks are metal, and fairly thick. This makes them sturdy. The fabric is light, yet very durable. I’d trust this to definitely keep the rain out. It is lined on the inside, keeping the heat of the sun out, yet translucent enough to let light in.Set-up is a breeze, espetif you have 2 people. That makes spreading out the frame a lot easier! The legs adjust to convenient heights and are not awkward at all. They smoothly adjust. The canopy is very secure on the frame! There is no way it will blow/fall off if set up properly. There is also a lot of room for the, perfectly fitting, side wall to go on (not included). The unit folds down nicely, and I pack the canopy in the pocket on the travel bag. The travel bag is convenient to use, and the wheels are a very nice addition! The tent itself isn’t too heavy, maybe 40 pounds? So it is easily moved by one person…espetbecause of the wheels on the bag .I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this again. I’d recommend it to anyone, and it is definitely worth the extra cost. Swing other’s tents at sales, this one was definitely one of the sturdiest and well built!

Disappointed that the bag it came in was damaged. The zipper was broken and I had to force it open, ruining the bag.

Wir haben das Pavillon heute bekommen und direkt zum Testen aufgebaut. Ja, was soll ich sagen?

Very well made – although a bit more expensive compared to others I’ve seen, it seems pretty robust.Easy to erect – not sure I could mange it solo, but easy with 2 people.Sturdy when erected.Canopy is well sewn and made from decent material – Looks nice. The storage bag is actually large enough to get the gazebo back in without having to wrestle with it.Happy with purchase.

This is the second 3m x 3m Gazebo I have ordered (sides sold separately). Very impressed with its durability (the second one is not a replacement for the first which is still in good repair)
