This tool was the perfect size to hold my hair in place! I’ve been looking for a non synthetic hair stick for awhile. Even though this was made for eyes, it can be used for a few different purposes.

Quality
This wand is free from any harsh edging, glides on face well when using your favorite serum. Weight and appearance of product is of quality rose quarts. Product comes in a cute magnetic box and satin bag for safe keeping.

Need a pointed end
I feel the rounded end doesn’t do deep tissue massage. I use a spiked massage ball— works better for my hands.

Genuine stone, smalled than photo makes it appear
First, a couple of problems with the listing for this item… It looks like the manufacturer may have populated the “material” field of this listing with information from another product. It is NOT rosewood as the “material” says, but rose quartz (crystal) as the description and title state. You also have to be careful of the pictures for this item. The picture of a hand holding this pen and using it on the other hand seems to show more or less the correct dimensions. The image of the wand being held next to someone’s face and being used below the eye is an extremely poor Photoshopping job that makes the pen look much larger than it is. True dimensions – 4″ long x ~3/8″ at the widest. I do really like this massager. It does heat up quickly, but at first it feels so nice and cool against the skin. It’s beautiful stone. As far as I can tell, it is rose quartz, but I’m no expert and wouldn’t know if it were dyed. The smooth, hard tip works well (for me) to massage small points. I could use my thumb to rub the spot, but fingers are soft and move the skin more than the tissue below. This pen provides a more directed massage for sore points. It does not come with instructions so you or the recipient may want to look up massage techniques online. Basically, the way I use it and the way I think you’re supposed to use it is to rub whatever is sore with a small circular motion. Unfortunately, when you look up acupuncture pen online, it shows all sorts of results for pens that use an electrical current so good luck if you’re trying to research how to use it. This pen comes in a nice box with a satin bag and a card that you can fill out for the recipient. Just make sure the recipient would know what to do with it because it’s not obvious from the packaging. While I really like this for massaging and relieving pain, I am lowering the rating by one star just because they do not divulge the size and one of the photos grossly misrepresents it. Frankly, it would be terribly unwieldy being made of stone if it were that size, so the true size works much better, but nevertheless they’re misrepresenting the product. Otherwise, a 5-star item.
