Inexpensive adjustable dumbbells work exactly as advertised. Iâve only had them a few weeks, so canât speak to the durability. My only issue is that after a particularly hard set, itâs hard to find the slots, to put the dumbbells into because they are narrow. Itâs hard to finesse weights into a holder when your muscles are completely spent.

The item arrived in a mangled box, including the styrofoam forms designed to hold the weights in place. The styrofoam was broken into dozens of pieces. Not surprisingly, only one of the dumbbells worked.To top it all off, I am now responsible for finding a new box, printing a shipping label and sending it back. No option for a replacement. No option for a free drop off at a participating store.Donât buy these. Bad product and zero customer service.

It is very easy to get the weights off and on. the weights are very well made and do not look cheap. I got these as a gift for my husband, so they are the heavier set (goes up to 55 lbs) and he enjoys working out with them. His only critique is that it is a bit of a wide grip. i would recommend. great space saver too.

All good so far
I upgraded from the smaller ones (3-15lbs) because I outgrew them and the weight on these is going to be perfect for me for a while.2 problems for me personally.1: Pretty long at 18″ so don’t clock yourself in the face or head doing exercises where you need to keep them in tight like hammer curls, or for standing overhead press you might have to rotate your wrist.2: Not a fan of these grips. They’re textured but they could be a lot more textured, they almost feel smooth. I prefer knurled steel.Although I will say these being smoother I do grip them harder so maybe I am actually working on my grip strength, which isn’t a bad thing.
